Serious question, when Nielsen was interviewed post game, do you know what he was saying?
He just seemed to mumble incoherently, and I honestly thought they should have added subtitles.

Enjoyed the game tonight. Just a pity we didn’t get a few choruses of “go home ya Huns” after third goal.
Glad sevco won’t be coming calling. However if they were, I would have priced it at 15 quid for adults and a fiver for concessions. They would get less cash and being priced as a lower tier game would noise them up no end.
However I wouldn’t go even if they made it free on the ticket

Sorry i ment Dante….message remains the same….you need qaulity defenders to play that system…especially in europe….
Good night, all. I predict there will be more stuttering along the way but that will decrease and, eventually, we will be very happy with the way our team performs. Anthony Stokes will continue to improve.Early days but his demeanour has changed of late.
Anthony Stokes is not the answer and will not be the answer. Unless the question is ‘Who should not be playing up front for Celtic?’.
A pity as he has ability.

Strange that should be criticising Stokes so vehemently after he gives, in my opinion, one of his best performances in a Celtic jersey.

Forgive my cynicism, but a crowd of around 15k seems a bit too close to the sevco crowd from last week.
I smell more Gladys knight from the BBC sport dept.

He isn’t good enough for Europe. Europe matters to me, not a worthless tournament.
However, I am pleased if Anthony played well.

Bit behind the times here but been reading the Sunday Herald’s extensive coverage of the GS trouble last Friday.
Plenty of social media evidence of vanguard bears trying to organise a mob and calling for attacks on the GS Yes crowd. Some criminally vile stuff posted and how the scuffers aren’t onto it is astonishing, or maybe they are.
This will be the same VB who display their banners at the bigot hoose ‘demanding answers, honesty and integrity’. Even one of their own castigated them in the article, saying he was ‘ashamed of his fellow Rangers fans’. I dont buy the daily rags but can anyone say if a reference was made to the Huns in them?
And by the way, any Celtic fan who wants the Klan back at CP needs their heads looked.

Stokes has skill but he lacks the speed required to be a top player; speed of movement and speed of thought. Charlie Mulgrew is exactly the same.
Tonight though Stokes deserves a lot of credit. His partnership with Izaguirre produced some fantastic football. The Hertz right back will be having nightmares for weeks to come, they ripped him to shreds.
I was also impressed with the way Stokes gave Guidetti a big pat on the shoulder to say well done when Guidetti was being substituted. Its the small things like that that build team spirit.
Stokes isn`t a CL quality striker, we all know that. Its not his fault that we are still relying on him. All that we can ask is that he gives his all and plays at his best whenever he is handed a starting slot. Tonight he did exactly that.
Did you see the two penalties Falkirk were denied last night?
Absolute stonewallers.
I’ll be very surprised if St.Johnstone beat them.

I was there and did not think we had 15000 in.
Very sparsely populated, lower tier only; Celtic Way empty, food outlets empty, toilets empty, parking easy.
No conspiracy by BBC just no’ many punters bothering to go with the game on the telly.
I actually thought it, (very small home support), helped Hearts settle quickly and take us on for the first 20 minutes.
Hopefully more tickets sold for the Zagreb game.

Always great to win, and there are so many other aspects of tonight’s victory that pleases. The run up to it, the opponents, etc
However…
Stokes and Izzy were allowed the freedom of the left wing, and I struggle to imagine a more inept defensive formation that often had three players on them and still couldn’t stop them. Hearts were naïve as much as Motherwell were cynical.
We were lucky to go in 1-0 at HT and the coaches know that. Our sloppiness, complacency, carelessness, lack of concentration….call it whatever you want…was very evident.
We were also lucky that we did not concede from their penalty, and again our coaches know that too. VVD kicked the boys ankle, inadvertently, but kicked it nonetheless. Thank goodness our man Sow made his pig’s ear of it. But we were that close to being 1-1 and who possibly 2-1 down.
We were in control of the game, but we couldn’t put it away until KCs penalty.
Tonight we scored one goal from open play, and that is a story we have heard before this season, Sunday being the most recent.
A win is progress though and hopefully the other things are being addressed.
The team photo video from the official website is nice viewing….team spirit on show.

Once Forrest is fit and Wakaso back playing, Mulgrew available with Lustig and Matthews it is going to be very interesting to see who plays.
For the first time in a long time the team won’t ‘pick itself’.
For me,
Gordon
Lustig
VVD
Denayer
Izzy
Brown
Mulgrew
Johansen
Forrest
Wakaso
Guidetti
But, as I say, lots of variables there.
Exciting times ahead.
A true number 10 and a extra defender in Jan and we have a very strong squad.

I thought he was excellent tonight and showed a range of perfectly weighted passes that were exquisite, to say the least.
That much maligned pair played very well doon that left. Europe is the Big Stage however.
