I’ve never heard of Rangers’ domestic record either, and doubt that would be 1959-60. Hearts won the league that year, if my memory serves me well.
*I never mentioned 59/60 other than them getting humphed by Eintracht Frankfurt; I stated it was 92/93.
Yes 1966 had its’ high and its’ lows. That said had we went on to play in the ECWC at Hampden in 1966, and imagine the crowd that would have been there, and won, would we still have went on to win the Big Cup in 1967?
*I have often asked myself that.

I didn’t understand why a massive German dude was in the Celtic Section, on such an important night for Celtic. I wish I had been friendlier to him. I never even said hello. :((

“oul scot symon’s got a sore heid
just because of Sammy reid

I believe that one of the CSC made him their POY. He was pictured in the Monday papers sitting at work on the Sunday (double bubble) eating his piece.

“Celtic run out worthy winners against plucky 12 men Hearts……..”
Bobby Mad-Hun provided a display of guile and subtle sleekitness as he allowed late hit after late hit that could have left our flair players playing pass and jump rather than pass and move.
Gordon. Some lovely wedge shots out to my MOTM Gamboa. Central defence solid. KT. Just his usual excellence.

JamesGang, not seen you at the gang hut for a while.
Madden was disgraceful today, the right back and right mid of the diet Huns took turns kicking Kieran and Scott, one after the other, both should have been booked first half.
Second half, No. 88 should have seen a straight red, through the back of James.
Off to bed now. Manchester bound tomorrow again, great day to be a Celtic family member, most days are like that.
The lhad is home from a great trip to Lisbon, he will be watching the highlights now as I have given him a glowing report on the performance.
If things go to plan I will be at Celtic Park on Wednesday although the situation is fluid. The lhad is home again next weekend and fancies a trip to Perth next Sunday….any spare tickets would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
I mentioned to Aidan today about the Donegal Giants.

A few hair triggers tonight lads. My reading of what Brendan said showed an initial unhappiness that the club hadn’t managed to seal a deal, he then added the part about the intransigence of others. You usually put what you think are the most important factors first when you are trying to explain your views on something.
—–
That’s the way I interpreted Brendan’s comment too.
Pretty sure Martin went 32 SPL games unbeaten including the 25 SPL winning. Never lost till the league was won.
It was that that eclipsed Jock Stein’s 26 game unbeaten run and it is that that, in my opinion, is greater than the present run. My main point is that nobody celebrated that “domestic” record back then. It has been invented to allow the present Celtic team to compare itself to the team of August-December 1966. Only don’t mention Europe!

Cowiebhoy,
I am glad you and your family are not letting this go. Hopefully social media will provide a springboard for justice.
I believe there has or is a campaign to replace firearms with tranquilizers. This in my opinion is a logical move to disarm trigger happy farm thugs.
A poxy 1953 law being rolled out says much about modern Scotland.
Again so sorry,
HH.
Just heard Brendan talking about History.
Awesome.
