If People of the Jewish faith decide to alienate themselves from supporting our club because a section of our clubs support sympathise and have empathy for the way the Israeli state treat the Palestininian people then so be it. That is their choice. If other people of the Jewish faith decide to support out club due to the same section of our clubs supports sympathy and empathy with the treatment of the peoples interned in Palestine due to the policy of the Israeli government then so be it. If other Jewish people just want to support Celtic because they like the hoops or love the way we play. Then so be it.
Who are we to decide for them. We as individuals can only follow and hold to our own convictions and if those convictions marry to others within the support to raise awareness and/or funds for any current affair throughout the world then it is within their human rights as citizens and supporters to raise their concerns within the legal structures of the country we live in. If others within the support hold opposing views and/or sympathies then it’s also within their rights to raise awareness of their views and position as supporters of the club and citizens of this country if they so wish.
It’s quite simples really.
But in defence of the alienation of people of a certain faith since a section of our support I have noticed a massive reduction in attendance since this was raised by about eh…
