  1. Not heard anybody say “like a new signing” for a while but glad to see Bitton coming in and doing a job. Duffy worries me though. What happens when Julien comes back?

Hope Ajeti’s injury isn’t too bad….A fully functioning Eddie and Ajeti in tandem will score hat-loads at this level.

  2. That was a welcome tonic on a lazy Sunday afternoon. 3 points, 3 goals and a clean sheet. Great showing from Turnbull, Frimpers, Broonie and Bitton ;-))

Condolences to Henry Joy and family on the passing of his father, may he Rest in Peace

    H.H.

  3. !!BADA BING!!

Can’t be many Broonie haters on here, surely?

I personally believe that at 35 he won’t be playing twice a week every week and he’s looked below par so far this season but delighted he’s performed well today and will be even more delighted to see him guide us to the ten.

  4. Excellent performance today all round and God are we spoiled for choice in midfield, really impressive debut by Turnbull. A similar level of performance on Thursday and we’ll be fine. Good interview by Lenny as well, good day all round. HH

  5. Lenny saying Ajeti will be a few weeks. Says Brown was his MOTM and that Bitton was superb.

He also said it may be the best performance as his time as a gaffer. Maybe a step to far with that.

  6. Good 3 points this afternoon ,I must say Ajer is definitely not a left back, hopefully we get another decent left back with pace ,also Frimpong needs another back with pace ,and Bitton played another good game,

  7. !!BADA BING!! on 27TH SEPTEMBER 2020 5:00 PM

The Broonie haters will be quiet tonight

Poor comment mate. I don’t think we have any of those. The Broonie situation is more complex than a ‘for’ and ‘against’ lobby. He did well today but for a fast-mving playmaker at number six I’d still play him off the bench and have a Callum in there.

    HH fella.

  8. “Imperious” a purring Neil just said about Broony. Hear hear.

And yes, Turnbull has got that lock-picker pass in him. Put a few complacents on notice wi that performance.

    Bedtime all. HH

  9. That was an excellent performance and result for us today. I am a major critic but congratulations to Neil Lennon and all the players. Broonie was excellent too. Great to see David Turnbull, Frimpong and others perform so well. Defence came onto a good game. Terrible blow in losing Ajeti for so long as he was reaching full fitness. He’s a goal machine.

  10. Best performance of the season.

I’d have Bitton the hand off you for that result and performance.

  12. Good game against a fast attacking Hibs side – I thought we done very well and covered each other.

Nice variations in bringing the ball forward instead of side-to-side passing from defence to midfield to defence to midfield etc…

    No complaints about the players.

There’ s no need for that. We all want all of the players to play well. Broonie has been rightly criticised for being poor to date. Credit where it’s due, he was great today. No need for the childish comments.

  14. SFTB

Out of an abundance of caution, he suggests you nip down to Slater’s and get some threads in long sizes and long sleeves.

  15. Remember, we were the ones with a midweek game in Latvia.

Remember Hibs were the team frightening the shite out of the rest.

    We destroyed them today.

    That was class, absolutely superb,

I am beyond happy, after that performance.

Turnbull coming on and playing so well is an added bonus.

I would add my voice to Lay off Taylor movement.

Thought he played extremely well, Brooney rolled back the years, & wee Jeremie, we surely won the watch there.

Not sure how happy pigs are in shite but they couldn’t be happier than me right now.

  16. Much much better, defence was solid against the pace that they had the midfield was assertive and controlled much of the game, disappointed in the injury to Ajeti, this guy just puts the ball in the net with regularity, crucial for what we want to do, Subs got minutes in the legs and David Turnbull got 45 minutes in which he hardly wasted a ball and had an assist for Ely’s goal. McGregor much more effective in the forward position but he does find himself deeper than Taylor which is obviously how we are going to attack teams, his shooting is on target making the keeper make saves. Well done Celtic.

Agree with the GT remark, have said on here a few times he is a good honest pro. I like what he can do and don’t complain about what he can’t.

Your mask comment still goes unexplained.

  19. Bada Bing…Don’t think any supporters Hate Broonie …just because some pass their opinion on performance…does not a Hater make them ….Yes Scott had a very good game today, as did Bitton CaluM indeed all played really well…worry a wee bit about Shane Duffy pace and passing though…

Watching David Turnbull stroking his passes around reminded me of Liam, whats his name???, from Cork Who went to Man U…

  20. The Huns will be frustrated after that. Some of them smelled blood today and would have thought that they were forging ahead on goal difference. Hasn’t happened. I think in the scheme of things today will prove to be a very important win for Celtic.

  21. Although not in my Jobo top three, I thought Taylor merits a mention. Whilst Bitton and Ajer were both excellent I thought Taylor was the best of the back line.

A good time to find the missing spark.

Ajeti and Christie injuries are concerning. BTW, we should have had a penalty for that tackle on Christie. Fortunately we scored anyway.

On the plus side, Turnbull. Looks a mighty fine player to me. And Siri always impresses me when he comes on.
