I agree with you that PL, and indeed Lenny, both loved, and probably still love Celtic.
I do think however, their love of power and money affected the club, and more so the lifeblood, ie, supporters, in their last year.
PL, whether on DDs advice or not, ensured “The Rangers” continued in one guise or another. If he loved the club and it’s supporters more than money/power he’d have at least acted on the evidence provided by the resolutioners. (Is that a word?)
Lenny meantime, would not have held on til he was sacked.
We really do have Excellent options in the wide areas.
Wee Jamesie got the proper reception when he was substituted. Outstanding.
I don’t think he will be a first pick again but he can still be a very good back up, especially domestically.
I thought Liel when he came on looked frighteningly good. His, and so many of our balls Today into the box, were exquisite.
The roll out of VAR in the banana republic of Scotland – what could possibly go wrong? 🙃
Mr Crawford Allan is very excited about VAR being brought in. Surely its Alan Crawford, NAW.
These cretins cannae wait to give their favoured Newco Club Every and Any advantage possible.

Never fear change if it’s for the benefit of the product.
The whole way the club was being run, from team, to team management, and from interfering executive(s), if it were to continue, would seriously affect turnover, profits, dividends and customer base.

I’m as happy as any fan that we won convincingly today but note:
1. The Hibs defense was the most open we’ve played against for a while – just notice how much space we got in passing for the goals and then the actual goals themselves. It suits us a lot given the superiority of our players
2. Am I right in thinking only JF celebrated his goals with tremendous pleasure. The others were more subdued possibly realizing what happens in the CL and what happens in SPFL against a team that doesn’t park the bus are worlds apart and they’re still disappointed that they couldn’t make the step up.
3. The goals were to some extent due to the weakness of Hibs defense – blunders, deflections etc. Good crosses for sure for a couple but were any of them truly quality goals?
I think Ange will try to face down the board at some point and who knows what will happen – for his style of football to work against better opposition will demand better players including substitutes. He’ll try to achieve that and the board will have to agree or see him go. Traditionally the board is risk aversive – not willing to invest for fear of not getting a proper return on their money. But truth be told CL money and better transfer fees should keep the wolves many miles from the door. See Brugge and Ajax – how much do they get for their players? They pay more, keep them for a few seasons and sell them on for big money after showcasing them in CL. We need to be more ambitious.

[The Conservative Party’s] one remaining trick seems to be that of making
each new one so bad that the previous disaster is cast, retrospectively, in a
more sympathetic light.
Truss will certainly achieve this. She will make Johnson seem a political
genius, May a mistress of empathy, David Cameron a beacon of sincerity.
These are morbid symptoms. Truss is the embodied death wish of a faction
that has lost the will to live as a real party of government.
She is the My Lovely Horse of Father Ted, the Springtime for Hitler of
The Producers – designed for failure. The Tory press will sing My Lovely
Liz and Springtime for Truss with unironic gusto, but the illusion will be
as transparent as it will be short-lived.
We in Ireland, tied whether we like it or not to the fate of our neighbouring polity, must hope that this death-rattle does not go on too much longer.
Perhaps Truss’s accession is a last rite, a ghost dance for a desperate tribe.
Perhaps, after her, there will be a deluge of reckonings with reality.
