James Forrest is the first home grown Celtic player to score 100 goals since Charlie Nicholas, he’s the first home grown player to do it in one stint with the club since Kenny Dalglish.

Looking at the table there and noticed that only 5 out of 12 teams have a positive goal difference, this could possibly drop to 3 tomorrow. I don’t think I’ve seen this before

That’s more like it Celtic Not a failure all the boys played there part today , I thought jenz and our wee Argentine had good performances . Ccv steady , James Forrest great to see him back . Pleased to see daizen get a goal He needs a wee confidence boost . Only gripe today was the hun in the middle , that guy today marshalled that game with an agenda . He knows he won’t face any reprimand for an awful performance , and he knows anyway he referee,s Celtic games won’t incur any criticism from our club . Allowing all hun refs to do as they wish . but if the team do there job the McLeans , Robertson’s and walsh,s won’t matter . HH

Great result / good performance — some of the play was brilliant.
SH — only half the game but fully man of the match.
Really ran the show when he was on — all our good play came down the left.
Very open game — possibly too open — but he loved the space.
AB is half cooked but he showed a lot of class — 6 months away from being our starting LB. Needs some support but he really looks to have the makings of a quality FB.
Compare and contrast — JFr would be a current comparator regarding a young / fast / all action FB.
Good to see JF in the goals — hopefully it will give him much needed confidence and loosen him up a bit. Really a case of opening up his legs and showing his class in a Montreal 76 type of way.
Ludge MIB can just hand out the Grand prize – they have the 22/23 winner of the most sleekit performance against a team from G40 — it had everything except the result.
Comment has to be made — he was a constant hive of irrationality / anti-football / bias / pseudo cheating / honest mistakery.
Finally — Hibbee TV provided a good commentary.
Much better than the sub hospital radio effort on CTV.

Top 30 goal scorers for the club — seen 16 in the flesh.
Not sure if I have seen all 16 score though.
Some great names — can nearly forgive the bold DD.
I, too, was interested by Daizen’s reaction to scoring a well-taken goal. I totally take the point about Zen and staying centred. Maybe there is more to it than that, though I’m not going to pretend I am an expert on Japanese culture. But all three of the regulars seem to be polite, respectful and humble. I remember the old folks talking of Japanese combatants during the War and how they had an excruciating experience of failure, which was almost unacceptable in their culture. Hence the hara-kiri option. I wonder if Daizen feels he has been underachieving recently and, therefore, one success – however welcome – does not permit of premature celebration. There is something dignified about all three, in my opinion. Good to see Ideguchi on the fringes. He has had such a difficult introduction to Scottish football. It would be great if he should reveal himself as an accomplished midfielder in the coming weeks. Here’s hoping.

Thank God, Ange didn’t go for Plan B and furthermore didn’t try to resign Tom Rogic (much as we all love the guy).
Not everything clicked – which must be frightening for the rest of the league.
We can create great chances against most teams and make it look easy.
All the Celts were goodies.
Two baddies
Ref was absolutely appalling. Two key cheating indicators.
1. Decisions way, way outside standard boundaries of probability
2. Eagle eyed 1 minute/mole eyed the next
Ryan Porteous – heard some talk about how he’d be good for Celtic !!!
Hopeless. Tried to flex his muscles in first half. A Greek guy with bigger muscles rag dolled him.
Hid out at right back in second half.
PS – I’m not a Jim Goodwin fan but he was bang on about this boy.

Re the foul count, 2 of the possible explanations
1. Because we do the high press and it’s attacking players trying to win the ball back they are more likely to commit fouls.
Some superb football was played today, no bad for a second string, delighted for Jamsie, well deserved for the effort he has put in over the years, Ange sure knows what it’s all about and we will only get better and better, it’s up to the suits to match his ambition and I honestly believe we can do some damage.

First time since Christmas 2003 we have blasted six goals against Hibernian at Celtic Park (Parkhead, Glasgow).
6-0 on that occasion, Sutton 2, Hartson 2, Larsson 1, and Petrov 1.

Disgrace. And it should have been 7 – 1 but for a call against Bernabei that was vile!
EL where are you CSC
Press home the advantage in January.
Even the most loyal Sevcodger will know they’re losing Kent and Morelos for nothing pre contract.
Well they are on Kent’s case regularly and the Colombian’s had enough.
Keeper is 40, two backs coming in for the worst stick (apart from Kent).
DUP UDA placeman called back, loan paid, job done.
As it stands, the cabal of refs are our biggest obstacle.
Let’s make them irrelevant in January Celtic board.
An open goal for another 40m. Surely Ange and Nicholson are on it. Strengthen while on top.
Noticeable by their absence???????????
Funny how certain posters are prolific when the Cellic lose?
