    TT- When the referee blows the whistle, the game is stopped, no ifs or buts,clearly he had enough time to do that,and raise his arm to denote a free kick.

    Doesn’t matter, if the ref has indicated a foul and stopped play then Var shouldn’t be involved. The only issue is whether the ref went into the usual actions indicating a foul but forgot to use his whistle.

    Watching the Brentford v Palace game.

     

     

    Palace score direct from a free kick, but the ref blew for a free kick to Brentford before the ball hit the net.

     

    The female commenator has just said that you can see the ref blew the whistle before the ball hit the net therefore VAR couldn’t get involved.

     

    Wonder if she’s free for Scottish games

    Kyogo out , convinces me we paid the money for idah as emergency need. Otherwise, out board would have haggled until late in the window for a better deal. We are doing the same with all other target signings. I don’t know if it’s prudent, greed or miserly tactics. I do know the team is still not stronger (in fact it’s weaker) than end of last season……..at the moment, in terms of personnel.

     

     

    Let’s hope the Oreily Atalanta saga is not out Morelos scenario.

    I think we paid the right, necessary, risk-free money for Idah. It sends some signal to our opponents that we can pay that money, and start him from the bench. Wooofft!
