Played really well for an hour or so but the subs didn’t provide any impetus to make the breakthrough.
Though Luke was excellent.
Tounekti created a fair few chances.
Saracchi also had a good game.
Kelechi unlucky not to bag a couple.
Prefer Donovan to Ralston on current form though understand the need for Ralston to get a game.
Maybe have dropped points, but played well IMHO.

No late winner today. A frustrating day at the office. Thought we did more than enough to win it but we did blunt our attack a lot when Iheanacho went off. It looks like we’re gonna be very dependent on him.
I’ve major doubts our squad has the requisite depth to play 2 games a week for the next 3 months. We may need to play Kenny in Europe and keep Iheanacho for the league.
They had 3 head knocks in first half plus a substitute and only 3mins added. 2nd half was worse and we only got 4 added. When players are down injured and subs made – he fkn difficult is it for a fourth official to stop watch the time ? Takes all confusion out of it. We were robbed of 5mins imo.
Overall we played well and they defended well. Only criticism is 1st half we NOT ONCE played the ball in behind for the runs of tonekti and maeda. Everything to feet and predictable overlaps to touch line. For me that’s on McGregor and Mcowqn – see those runs and play with a first time ball.
Thot sirrachi and tonekto were our best.
Don Robertson knows exactly what’s he’s doing. Never plays advantage and gives those 50-50 fould against us. Cheat
We used to find a way to win these kind of games but we just don’t have that bit of extra quality required.
Could be an uncomfortably tight league .
Thought we deserved to win, a good performance right up to putting the ball in the net.
A good test ahead of Thursday, hopefully Reo will be fit.

i seen Brendan querying a throw in that Hibs got to the 4th official .He was well exasperated!!
Hibs had 1 foul given against them the entire game, which was in the 90th minute.
Celtic had 16 fouls against in a game they had 77% possession.
We were awarded 1 foul today,in the 90th minute. They got 16 from 22 percent of the possession.
What a dirty team Celtic are 16 -1 fouls conceded thank goodness Don was there to look after the Hibs players
Thought Celtic were SUPERB today….
No back end horseshoe and lots of forward momentum…no goals but a hundred chances….
Disappointed that Arne didn’t do anywhere near enough…Nygren was way more positive when he came on….Thought Ianeacho was probably here for a holiday but he worked his bollox off ……..if we keep playing like that we’ll score plenty and walk this league…keep up the good work bhoys…
Don Robertson is the worst ref in the league for me. Just utterly horrendous. I’d have Beaton over him every day of the week.
Was there VAR review of the handball from the CalMac cross ? Cut back cross, ball goes behind hibs player and instead of going into the area, it strikes an outstretched arm and goes clear.
Stehboy- we played one through ball, Luke to Diazen who played in Kelechi- who should have scored. I agree we need more of that.
Hibs time wasting and falling down was theatrical- the backing in and falling forward foul is so predictable.
We could and should have won today – need more variety and finishing.

Played well in a game no breaks went our way.Sometimes you need one.Ralston,for someone so experienced,can’t seem to cross a ball above leg height.Left side of Sarrachi and Tounetke,very good.One of those games but as Tinytim said,far to many goals taken out of the team and not replaced.We soldier on,I am sure the Board are as disappointed as the fans.!!!!
They will be,won’t they?.Anyway,back to the Ryder Cup,alongside big Dermott.So caught up in the performance,I bet he forgot we were playing today.
Don Robertson has taken 3 of our 6 league games this season.
That seems statistically improbable. He’ll get more going by today’s performance.
Another team who came to defend waste time and play for a draw, we weren’t good enough to take any of our chances but I thouge we at least played quicker less sideways stuff, Bowie would never have got fouls for what he was going down for against any other team and Robertson continues to cheat Celtic.
Khun replaced Abada, and Idah (technically) replaced Kyogo
We are missing goal scorers but it’s a bit daft including players that were already replaced.
I did notice….almost every corner we had…as soon as Hibs cleared the first cross…1 of their players went down feigning an injury…we have the cleared ball but the ref stops play….happens far too often to be real….
