  1. Disgusted with the Green Brigade today.

85 minutes on the clock and everyone knew there would be stoppage time and they started singing sack the board.

Why couldnt they leave that till the final whistle?

Answer – Because it’s all about them. Can’t believe they’re going to be silent for 29 minutes during Thursday’s crucial European game.

    Celtic supporters my arse.

  2. C’mon Tom..

People don’t want to hear them because it’s all about them…

You don’t want their silence cos it’s all about them..

    They can’t win…

  3. Team and sqaud regression equals zero goals i stayed to the end ad always but knew we were never scoring.

  5. 6 games in and we’re 4 points down on last season’s form. We scored 112 goals last season, we won’t break 80 this season imo.

It will be an attritional season but our defence should see us through.

  6. How come when everything doesn’t go Celtics way it’s the refs fault,We missed a few chances this afternoon, just as we did on Wednesday night ,so blaming the referee is a old chestnut, time we looked at the real issues, like bad decisions with the substitutes also a bad habit that’s been going on for years is relying on a couple of players to win games,no wonder they come the end of the season they are burnt out.

  7. lets all do the huddle on

need to read back to see who said ‘it was the refs fault’.

    i maybe some time…

I don’t want to hear them chanting sack the board with 5 minutes to play and we’re chasing a goal.

    What are you scared of?

Robertson is hilariously predictable. Never gives us anything. Gives the opposition everything to break our rhythm, but even he surpassed himself today. 16 fouls against, 1 for? Will squeaky Mike, the second biggest coward in the Celtic support find his voice to ask the necessary questions?

PS time to earn your corn Brendan. Drawing nearly 40% of your games 0-0 ain’t a good look.

  12. How come when everything doesn’t go Celtics way it’s the refs fault,

not my understanding of the previous comments ,but he is clearly a cheat who goes out of his way to not hide it and doesn’t give a monkeys flying f*** who he upsets it doing it.

    I hear you…but……

They and the “collective” are making their feelings heard….im not saying I agree with the way they’re doing it…but they feel they have to protest one way or another….

I’ll bet even they couldn’t wait to start singing in support of the TEAM….

How else can they protest?….. We don’t want graffiti, barricaded protests in the car park and so on….

I THINK they see it as their only way to protest legally without harming the team or the support…

“How come when everything doesn’t go Celtics way it’s the refs fault..”

“not my understanding of the previous comments..”

thats a very diplomatic response to a very Keevins-style comment.

but i will continue my search for any posts that said it was ‘the refs fault’.

it might be a fruitless search (surely not – ed). like the search for the illusive handsome hun.

  15. We will win the league and enjoy a three way chase for second place. Peter Lawwell (look at yourself, young man) will maintain a modicum of respect and retire. A new vibrant Celtic (team off the park) will propell us into a new year and win the Europa (hallucinat8ng here ok 😁). Free kick stats look truly unbelievable.. I’m very thankful that we have very astute Celtic fan media to highlight this and continue the fight for the changes we need. Wtf would we be if we didn’t have the equivalent of these guys in the 1990s….back with the Kellys and the Whites

  17. 5 of the 7 teams who had most possession in todays EPL won most free kicks..

that equates to 71.4% of games the team with most possession wins most free kicks…

Unless that team is called Celtic…where the percentages are opposite..

  18. Along with us missing chances .yes Robertson played a part in that result today . He has perfected the art of slowing down the game breaking celtics rhythm. I thought we played some right good football today ,but another blanket defence and the unability to take our chances ruined any chance of a celtic victory

  20. Maybe if we had a centre forward (if Iheanacho is the answer, it must have been a stupid question) and two wingers who beat the full back and put in a decent cross…who knows what the score might have been?

    And, Rodgers’ subs…FFS!

    Who signed Balikwisha?

    A feckin lightweight.

  21. Liked the look of Iheanacho today. He makes good runs and has the selfish steak all good strikers need.

No doubt that he’s short of match fitness, though probably the most obvious out and out striker we have. If only our recruitment model was fit for purpose

Left back looks very small, though intelligent and skilful.

Both could become cult heroes, short as their time here may be

  22. Left back has been excellent.Just unlucky today. It happens. No drama for me.Seen days like today often. We will win the league by double figures.

Stupid people that never learn a lesson.

    ………

I don`t think Rodgers will be too happy seeing you say this about him!

Ballywishy already knows that the manager is the problem.

    I can read face language.

  25. We wanted more physicality and presence at LB …

    Wee Greg Taylor was 1.7m

    Big Marcelo Saracchi is 1.72m

  26. I thought we played well until the front three went off.

Balikwisha, Kenny and JF offered no extra energy or guile to get us a winner.

    Shin?

  28. Iheanacho missed at least one sitter yesterday, he probably should have had two goals on the day.

That happens. Kyogo missed a sitter per match. He was still a top player for us.

We’re a much better team with Iheanacho in it and we should be thanking our lucky stars we got him in after the deadline because otherwise, we’d have Kenny and Yamada upfront and Hearts would be favourites for the league.

  29. Straight to the pub after the game to cheer myself up.

We played well enough yesterday and had enough chances and openings to win easily. Had that ended 4-0 Hibs would have had no complaints. However it didn’t and it’s becoming a habit that opponents are getting better at shutting us down and killing the game.

I have made this point before but what we have to play against is extremely difficult and I would not blame any manager because I don’t think there is a tactical switch that suddenly gets you through 10 men banked within 25 yards of the goal. Yesterday we were effective in getting to the byline cutting back and crossing but we didn’t get enough clear cut chances or convert this that we did. We worked very hard and gave away virtually nothing. Maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t see the tweek on system that opens that up – you are still up against that same wall, that same lack of space with the deep block.

What can and does make the difference is highly skilled players that can beat a defender find the gap or make the pass more often. Do we have enough of them or of the required level – that is a question for the people who control Celtics football dept.

    Another point to follow

    Agree. .

Weirdly really good for 10 mins prior to the singing starting lol and prior to their players lying down for treatment.

    Agree re our new striker.

Just as Oh missed multiple chance the other night he was also there and creating them.

I am sure our man will get plenty once he gets fully ‘up to speed’ and builds confidence.

2 huge games coming up mind you.

Braga won’t be easy and Motherwell have a really good set up and a manager who really does know his stuff.

Hoping we can raise it for these.

    I agree

“.. it’s becoming a habit that opponents are getting better at shutting us down and killing the game.”

    I don`t agree ( for this game).

Hibs did not shut us down otherwise we wouldn`t have had `enough` chances.

  34. I thought the left back was pretty good yesterday. In fact one of the top 3 or 4 players for me. I do think the Tunisian lad alongside him needs to hit the byline a bit himself rather than doubling back and playing safe. It was his first home game and playing with a new partner too is not easy.
