Since the Hearts debacle we are undefeated, have taken 16 points from a possible 18, qualified in the SC, and haven’t conceded a goal in open play.
I hope we arrest this slump soon…….

Police costs : A very good point regarding the £49 ticket price for hun games , home and away.
How many more police are required and how much does this cost in comparison with all other games. ? Do we also have to pay for more stewards ?
Do Celtic generally have to pay out more? Does the cost reflect this ?
Our crowd at most home games will not differ from the huns game. More vociferous perhaps, but numerically the same.
A point to ponder and only an observation: it’s plastered all over social media sites the GB et al walking on mass to Paradise before the huns games. Very colourful, very noisy and great viewing.
But there is a massive mechanised police presence. Is that passed on to the supporter.?
Is the increase in police requirements outwith the actual game itself passed on to the club.?
On the actual footie : Normally I’m not to keen on loan players, but if we can bring in players that can enhance our team right now, then we must jump at it. Building for the future is fine, and the concept of projects is fine; however we cannot neglect the now.

I was reliably informed that apart from games against the Sevs there is a very limited police presence but these games whether in Govan, Hampden or at Celtic Park the Z-car mob are not only in and around the game itself but also in many other areas, it is overtime windfall and it is down to the clubs to cover the costs (no laughing if you don’t think the The Rangers/Sevco are paying their share :-)
Must be police costs.
It’s only taken 1 and a half seasons to come up with that but surely it must be?
If we say often enough it will be accepted and written in scripture.
Good result yesterday and I thought a well controlled game even when put under pressure. If we just took our opportunities we’d all be happy as happy happy people.

Tommy Boyd once got booked in a game against the original Huns when he paced out 8 steps to prove the cheating ref didn’t put their wall back the full distance, and the cheating ref still let their wall stay where it was, canny remember the ref as they all seem the same to me

Solve the 10 yard free kick problem by doing what they do in the NFL. Two sticks tied to a piece of string that is 10 yards long. Wee guys run on, plant one stick where the ball is, the other stick provides the 10 yard. Now spray.

In a minor defence of the refs, my step is more than a yard. So just because it is only 9 steps doesn’t necessarily mean it is not the full 10.
However, the geometry of the pitch marking often show them up.The semi circle at the edge of the penalty area to the penalty spot is 10 yards. It’s easy to then work out, “the ball is 1 yard outside the circle therefore the wall should be no more than one yard forward of the penalty spot.”
