Lucky for many on here that the domestic dominance we have enjoyed this past 2 decades is not something you value.
It will be a long time until we ever see its like again. Probably never in our lifetimes. Still we can all throw tennis balls and sing about what we don’t want without having to actually think about or offer a plan for what we do want.

I watched on TV and that’s what the large in stadium screen seemed to indicate.
Regardless, I don’t belive we were awarded a foul, even outside the box.
It was very odd
When we’ve blown the league and knocked out the cup we’ll get the usual condescending statement from the board saying mistakes have been made they’ll learn from them. Nothing is going to change until someone stands up to the moustache and his knob of a son.
It would seem to me that Deranged Danny is on the downward trajectory and his claims to see racism in every corner has found himself a very comfortable position.
He has planted himself on high ground that nobody is permitted to question, because any challenge is immediately reframed as evidence for his argument.
But once you see the method, the particular madness becomes clearer.
It would seem to me that Danny has discovered the utility of permanent outrage. The accusation itself becomes the shield. He never has to prove anything, never has to offer solutions, never has to do the grinding work of actually helping anybody. He just has to point. And keep pointing. The finger does all the heavy lifting while he stands there looking righteous.

This costs him nothing. No skin in the game, no sacrifice, no uncomfortable self-examination. He gets to be the moral authority without ever having to distinguish between a genuine injustice and an inconvenient interaction.
Nuance would slow him down, so he rejects it. Specifics would require evidence, so he avoids them. Everything is racism because calling it something else would mean engaging with it properly.
And underneath all of that?
It would seem to me that any man who needs to stand on this particular platform, at this particular volume, is using the facade of a social justice warrior as a crutch to mask his own irrelevance. The world moved on, and rather than keep up, he found a way to judge it from above.
He jumped on this particular bandwagon because it was convenient, not because he cares. He doesn’t. If he did, he wouldn’t need to perform here on a daily basis. He claps and barks on command, a performing seal, waiting for a reward that never comes.
The next time you see him on here crucifying the English language in a performative fit of pique, remember: it’s all just a show. As Bill Hicks might have put it, it’s just a ride. The pointing, the outrage, the righteous indignation, none of it is real. It’s a performance designed to distract from the one thing he doesn’t want you to see.

Re the Scales foul: The big screen did indeed say “Incident outside penalty area” which I can only assume to be an input error by whoever operates the screen because the foul started on the penalty spot. Scales was being held although he embellished its effect.
The foul in the first half by Bashiri on Cvancera was the worst of it yesterday, Cvancera back to goal, ball at his feet on the six yard line, Bashiri having both arms round Cvancera pulling him to the ground.
Trusty’s red was right, imo. You can’t be doing that to an opponent. Stupid, and a mistake that will have a legacy beyond the points dropped yesterday.
Yesterday was excruciating, defensively very poor, including the full backs inability to prevent crosses. For me the Trusty , Scales combo has reached the end of the road and needs to be replaced for next season.
Heart says we still have a chance only because the other teams are poor but head says it’s gone , one caveat is that we have to win next week or the reality is it’s curtains.
Interesting yesterday that the sack the board chants got drowned out by booing and there was some clapping , cheers for Kasper ….

Our FBs seem to play so narrow that we leave it to the wingers to block crosses?! Given most visiting teams dont exactly get big numbers into our box it is strange.
On the LHS the number of times KT was ahead of Tounetki, or they were practically in the same position was equally frustrating.
Very little reason to be optimistic about winning any of the next few games. Right now I fear a heavy defeat at Ibrox in one if not both games. Not because there is genuinely much difference in the quality of the players but because we refuse to change tactics and format. We will almost certainly start 433, create little and be outnumbered and out muscled in midfield which will leave our out of shape defence brutally exposed.
442 or 451 would give us a chance to control the game. Leave the wingers on the bench.

Id like to see a 4 2 3 1 / 4 4 1 1 with either Nygren or Tounetki in a free role up with big Tam.
We cant afford to carry Nygren or Reo in a midfield 3.
Does anyone know how close Calmac is to missing a game after accumulating yellows? He has been booked in last two games I think taking him up to 6 or there abouts? What is the threshold for this and when does it kick in?

I didnt see CalMacs booking clearly yesterday as I again moved seats for my nephew (wont be a problem in future as the internal strife has put him off attending games) but it was early and nullified our only (semi) defensive mid from then on. Not shown on Sportscene either.

My main point is that players have to get a start sometime somewhere be it JJ or Kieran Tierney or Tony Ralston, or Kenny Dalglish for that matter, saw a couple of them make their debuts too. I’m not writing off a young player because it is his first game for us, agree with Martin he did quite well in a difficult baptism.
