    living down here in englandshire, have to educate them if you order a fish supper or fish and chips in Scotland you get a fish and half a fish with your chips, they don’t understand it ,best fish and chips ive ever tasted was from a chippy near Aberdeen on a night game, Aberdeen v celtic coming home to glenboig we stopped at this chippy name escapes me, wow fresh haddock and lovely chips circa 1970 .hh.

    No issues, but you knew that already.

     

    Hopefully have the cooking mojo back in a couple of weeks. Thought I was back a few weeks ago but circumstances held me back.

     

    However I watched some 10 year old Jamie Oliver stuff yesterday ; people have strong opinions on that boy. In my opinion, at that time he was on top of his game and rejoiced in classic Mediterranean food.

    when the boat first appeared I told my wee neice that it went out every night to get the fish then parked up every day at clydebank. this was before she started school.

     

     

    everytime we drove the langbank stretch of the motorway i would say to her “look away up there, its the chip shop boat going back to clydebank, och you just missed it”.

     

     

    this went on for ages, then one day over at the boat, getting our order she said

     

     

    “the boat is allways here isnt it”

     

     

    i said well aye, can you not see its fixed on the ground, she said

     

     

    “i knew it because where could it go to get the chips ?”

    Lurker,occasional poster. First thoughts to MAH, terrible news stay strong. I view this blog as an absolute goldmine of information from Celtic minded people who have forgot more than I know about Celtic. I consider being part of this community an absolute privelige. That being said last night was horrible, the venom show to fellow community members was astonishing, it was like being on Ragers Media! Pun intended. Fellow posters dont hit send in anger, have a cup of tea, then come back with the banter that makes this blog unrivaled.

    Heres an interesting one for any Blantyre lads.

     

    Last year I was in the Parkville for Christmas staff night out, usual riot green faces at breakfast in the morning. I was last out to my car and the buggering thing had broke down, i called assitance and headed back in. During this time I got into conversation with two lovely old guys, we spoke about everything Celtic RES 12 the asterix years also. We were all agrreed it was cheating on an industrial scale, I then piped up it all goes back to that wee Judas Barsteward Mo Johnston. Cue awkward silence, the old guy then explains to me that he is Mo’s father in law, argh fuxache big foot in mouth again. So here is the question for Blantirians, does his Father in Law dring there or was i had by too old guys?
