Wits, thank you kind words. I was high as a kite last night and really looking forward to a wee swally and lurking over the banter, which on occasion has me spitting over the screen in laughter. Last night was madness but every day is a school day an we can all learn, If you see my Blantyre post then I am as culpable and capable as anyone!

As I have posted before MURDOCAULDANDHAY was one of the first CQNers I have had the pleasure of meetin. The first were BLANTYRETIM and VHMAN. All Gents you cannot say one is better than the other. Stephen H though I have to say is one of the most humbling of people I have ever met.
I too do not frequent the blog as often these days and missed the news until ONEMALLOY told me, I immediately phoned him.
We were supposed to meet him to go see Bend it like Brattbak, unfortunately Stephen couldn’t make it. I will make the journey on Saturday to meet up with Stephen. However, I hope and pray that he receives positive news on Wednesday and our meet will be delayed but not for long.
With that Stephen and to all of you on CQN…

Roy Aitken inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame this evening. Whereas I congratulate him and he thoroughly deserves it, the Hall of Fame people have left a bad taste in my mouth. They need to get rid of some people to restore their credibility.

DD Anstruther (Ainster) always got the plaudits but for me Pitenweem was better. Benefits of Parents having an old Caravan in St Monans.
My mother & father had a caravan in Pittenweem. The chippy was brilliant.

The Kingdom of Fife is some place! I used to work all around Fife. There were some grim areas. Don’t want to mention where. But as has been mentioned you have the East Neuk and St. Andrews. Beautiful places.
