He talks to supporters on the bus on the way to Parkhead, interviews John Paul Taylor outside the ground and captures the atmosphere and action inside the ground before getting some more supporters’ views on the bus home after an eventful afternoon at Celtic Park.

Apologies for a few sweary words in this podcast near the end.

Isn’t that the judge who, during proceedings investigation involving Rangers, said it was his ambition to be nominated as a Mason by John Greig?

  2. After the 10 years I’ve just had, can I just say that my Guardian Angel’s in need of some serious in-service training!

Can anyone advise on how to apply for an upgrade?

I’ve long been convinced that I have two Guardian Angels, working in shifts and sometimes in tandem.

That may seem facetious. Unless you know me.

Example-I hit deep, standing water on a country road about 3am. My van did a quick pirouette and dived nose-first into a ditch-rear wheels in the air.

    Then tilted,slowly,as I prayed please don’t.

And I swear,I felt it being pushed back.

Honestly. It might be the first time I’ve posted it but I’ve told the tale before.

The two GA’s deserve a good long rest after their stint wi me!

  4. I’vehad to changemyname.

De Bruyne’s goal against Chelsea reminded me of Gerson’s in the WC Final 1970, that’s how great it was. The difference was, Gerson hit it with his favoured foot, his left, that’s the Belgian’s weaker foot.

You damn it with faint praise in your description of it. He didn’t just get the ball any old how and hit it, he had taken a pass in midfield, controlled it beautifully, moved it on, ran forward and took the return pass with an exquisite first touch, before hitting his perfectly struck shot, on the run, past a great ‘keeper in Courtois.

The fact that it was scored to break the deadlock away to a Chelsea side that had won away at Atlético in the CL ( some result and performance, that) made it all the better.

Performing under pressure, that’s what world-class players do.

See, you’ve just backed my case for an upgrade!

Obviously, glad you’re still here to tell the tale.

or perhaps THE BIG MAN was down to his last couple of barrels of GUINNESS and he’s thought “no thanks i’m keeping all this for me.”

  7. Off to Madeira for a week- you should be spared any provocations from me during International week.

As I see on this page, there are many other reliable suppliers of this commodity to keep you entertained(?)

Horrible news from Las Vegas on top of Spain’s weekend stupidities.

I hope the rest of us have a more peaceful time, free from loss and worry.

International week breaks can be fractious but we have more that binds us than should separate us.

    See you next week

Seriously, still jooost a whippersnapper at 54,but some events in life I wonder.

I suppose I’m too thrawn to lie down to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Good man. I think I just had the longest hat-trick in the history of the site.

How’s trix, old bean? You cleared for travel on 11/11?

  13. News from Las Vegas just getting worse as the morning wears on.

    Horrific for those involved.

I wonder how the “right to bear arms” nutjobs will feel when they wake up and realise what has happened. I don’t suppose it’ll change anyone’s mind over there. God Bless America ?

Better news. AOW – very pleased to hear about the improvement in your Dads condition.

    SFTB,

    Enjoy your week in Madeira.

I think we should all have a week’s holiday from here, as it can become a nasty place where bad nature fills the football vacuum.

    Tony D,

I saw your brother on Celtic TV on Saturday.

A fine man, who spoke well, as befits a true Celtic man, from the Donnelly stable.

  15. Right, who broke the blog?

    My money’s on that BMCUW!

You would never get COSY CORNER BHOY behaving in such a fashion!

    HH!!
