CELTIC v INTER MILAN IN LIMERICK?

0
CELTIC’S money-spinning pre-season friendly against old European foes Inter Milan is all set to be played in Limerick.
The Hoops are due to meet the Italians in the prestigious International Champions’ Cup on August 13 and Murrayfield has been put forward as a possible venue.
However, there is opposition from Limerick who are hoping the encounter will take place at their 25,000-capacity Thomond Park stadium.
The champions-elect are already heading to Ireland to face Lionel Messi’s Barcelona at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on July 30 as part of the megarich competition.
Celtic will also host the English Premier League’s shock squad Leicester City at Parkhead on July 23 in what is increasingly looking like a clash of the Scotland and England title winners.
