  1. You forget just how much utter nonsense the huns have generated over the past few years – and how much Jim Traynor seems to be involved at almost every step of the way. The great thing about digital media is that everything becomes permanent – it’s there forever more. To look at and laugh…what a bunch of clowns.

Morning Bhoys from a bright sunny but cold Central Scotland.I have to laugh at Brendans after match quotes at times Stuart Armstrong the blonde Cafu no wonder the players like working for him they must feel ten feet tall the way Brendan bums them up.Once again on Saturday I thought Sparky was trying to hard but his goal might calm him down a bit.I just hope the Bhoys can get through the International week without any injuries. H.H.

A very funny clip 0:-). There was no need for canned laughter in the Hot Smoked abode! ( although I did find that the funniest part . )

Good link. Thank you and well done.

PS I do think laughter may well be the best way of dealing with the wild claims made on behalf of Sevco; just as : Ha ha, ha ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha is a more effective response to the Billy Boys at a game than is booing.

  4. Does anyone on here have any verified figures reflecting the wages of most players ( ie excluding Celtic and the New Huns) in the SPL?

    Thanks.

    Morning lhads,

I too found it hard to believe, when informed that Dallas Jnr had Celtic leanings.

Further to my post earlier, I have contacted one of my “deep throat” sources – who grew up in the same neighbourhood as the Dallas clan – and he informs me that a young Dallas possessed a season ticket for Paradise.

As I said earlier – don’t shoot the messenger. I just thought this info was worth sharing amongst those you think the polar opposite about this ref.

Open to being proved wrong, and genuinely looking for others with good sources to share their knowledge (as opposed to opinion based on his refereeing ability, or who his father happened to be)

That was excellent. Much better when I turned up the volume to hear the canned laughter again! (and again!)

  7. Further to my post yesterday about referees, which was shot down by a few, please answer these couple of questions.I keep hearing the MIB will make sure the Huns get whatever. Please explain how they got gubbed in the Petrofac cup on 3 out of 4 occasions. If they were so desperate for cash and it would be laid on a plate for them, how they won no cups on their “Journey”.How they did not get promotion to the SPFL on first time of trying,a hammerblow to them. Now that they are playing in the SPFL,they have won 5 from 12 games..

The Hibs cup final was according to many a cert to be given to the Huns.Never happened.

No matter how much evidence to the contrary,we still get the same old lines trotted out.

No way am I defending referees. They are dire,Saturday was an example, but reading Hun Media, they are saying that Dallas was a disgrace, and the RC manager was slagging him as well.

They are just crap.If it was as some say,all the results I mentioned them getting earlier would not have happened. In the past we had Bobby Davidson,Mike Mc Curry, etc.Todays not in the same universe for Hunnery.

Off to walk the hound along Corran Sands. Memo to self;- put on the factor 50, sun is really strong here.

  9. Mineshafters .

Lots of anti board / anti players Striscione at yesterday’s Inter 3 – Crotone 0 game .

Inter now 9th in Serie A . 13 points off top spot …

One example –” We honour and respect the shirt , you disgrace it .”.

The next Manager of basket case Inter looks like being Stefano Pioli..

  10. Hunderbirds are Gone on

Just watched the (limited, BBC) highlights of yesterday’s game. Good result and what looked like a tidy performance. It is genuinely remarkable, the difference between last season and this one, that Brendan has made.

I so wanted Ronny to succeed. I thought his appointment as manager was a brave one, and the correct one at the time. It was a gamble (pretty much every player purchase, and every managerial appointment is), and it didn’t come off.

The difference in Brendan’s and Ronny’s teams level of play and results is striking, and illustrates very clearly that football management is not a computer game. Both men favour 4-2-3-1, both advocate a high press, the personnel is largely the same (granted the signings of Sinclair and Dembele, have had a profound effect on the team)

The difference? Brendan, like Ronny, has a clear idea of how he wants to play the game, but he can embrace pragmatism, to good effect, when required. Ronny, alas, could not. Secondly, and this is where you get what you pay for, Brendan has charisma, and seems to be able to properly motivate players, to produce their very best.

Reminds me in many ways of a big guy that used to manage us in the late sixties/early seventies.

    Dare we dream again?

  11. Hunderbirds firstly an apology for not replying to your lengthy email. Mrs Hebcelt was really interested, we have been planning a trip to Tahiti, for sentimental reasons. The Azores is now on the bucket list, will be in touch. Hail Hail Hebcelt

Good morning fellow Celts – some great results at the weekend!

Ms Saltires and I were hitched at Paradise on Friday, and off to Hamburg on honeymoon in an hour.

Then Hamlyn, then a few nights with friends at The Gresham in Dublin.

    Have a great week… I certainly will :-)

  14. Hot topic on FF this morning, and I quote…

“We need to spend £10m plus.

“We need investment of this magnitude to compete.

“We can’t pin our hopes on MW unearthing gems, it quite clearly isn’t going to happen.

“We need to buy our way out of this mess in January.

“Letting it come and go without massive investment in the first team will be a risk too high to take.

“Currently, we won’t be anywhere near a place in European football.

“Our leaders need to step up to the mantle and find that investment.”

  15. Tahiti?

I’m reading Joshua Slocum’s Sailing Alone Around The World and he’s just reached Nuka Hiva.

    What a coincidence! No?

Well it seems pretty close to me…!

As I understand it, it was the other Dallas sibling that attended CP for a while. You could say, he was going through a rebellious stage as a teen. This was about six years ago

  17. Kitalba- you’re on fire this morn, especially 8:49 & 11:45 – but missed the canned laughter at 11:45. …. loved it at 8:49.
