Today’s result and the mannerin which we got it, fully strengthens my reasoning to my post at the opening of this thread. We need to just take it one game at a time, no fans going on clyde midweek making statements such as leagues over by march, we are champions already, MIB will do all in their power not to make our win easy. Brown Man-Of-March, why is clyde talking about English football.
Solid performance, with 5 in shout for MON. Ledley, Wanyama, Mulgrew, Brown and Sammi. Another clean sheet. I have to give it to Ledley, but Brown and Sammi also brilliant.
We need to ensure we are 2 goals up as MIB will take any opportunity. They almost scored from that free kick.
Another clean sheet’

Given the level of bias and incompetence shown by the officials today I think this result was massively significant in the course of how this season will pan out.
Some terrific performances; Broonie superb; Sammi led the line magnificently and big Joe was just big Joe. Mulgrew was also immense.
Now we have Butcher refusing to speak to the BBC because he is raging about the officials.
Have to say I think both sendings off were ridiculous.

Only managed to catch the last 20 minutes so not really sure what went on before it.
Commentators on the atrocious streams I caught it on were fairly perplexed about the officials performances – maybe that will put to bed the nonsensical accusation that we have turned referees into poor victims scared to give anything the dastardly Celtic.
What I did see was inspirational energy from Scott Brown – Samaras once again had me scratching my eyes to the point I was nearly gauging them out – but my eyes werent failing me!
There were a couple of the more prone to ‘hands on hips’ harrassing and chasing at the end.
This current Celtic team will not allow themselves to not win this league.
I really do believe they are at the point where they would be willing to literally walk through brick walls to win.

Well there can be absolutely no doubt that the ‘brotherhood of “referees” ‘ will do there bit to help the huns keep close to us after that
Celtic did extremely well today to beat 14 men as both linesmen and the ‘ref’ gave some astonishingly blatant decisions against us today.
We may not have played the vintage free flowing football all day (although we did in patches) but we never got the chance to as the ‘cheating mason in the black’ made it quite clear that he could get away with bending (or ignoring) the rules to suit the opposition at every opportunity.
At one point in the 2nd half I was reminded of a game at Celtic park against the huns when hugh dallas actually gave us a free kick only to allow the defensive wall to stand no more than 7 yards away from the ball.
Anybody else remember Tom Boyd pacing out the 10 yards at least 3 yards past the wall only to receive a yellow card for his troubles? and the wall was allowed to stay exactly where it was!!!!
As for the straight red card on Big Dan! if you watch the direction of the ball you will see he did play the ball and he wasn’t even the last man back as i think it was adam matthews about 4 or 5 yards to the right and closing
Anyway well done Celtic for the 3 points and well done Lenny on your 100th game in charge

Raging about Dan’s card overlooks the fact that he switched off and nearly cost us dearly. He has a tendency to do that and then try to rescue the situation with clumsy challenges. He makes me nervous, I think we are more solid at the back without him. Scott Brown was immense today can’t praise him enough. Excellent performances from Sammi and Joe Ledley too. Hope ICT show same commitment when the Huns go up there in a couple of weeks.

Isn’t it strange how Butcher is ‘seething’ today but was a model of composure after the game at Ibrox earlier in the season, when his side had 2 stonewall penalties denied and an ‘offside’ goal mysteriously disallowed?
