  1. I hope PL is knocking on Flemmings door on monday morning, a disgraceful performance from McClean.

This league is not over with cheating swine like that about.

Thought our guys ran their guts out in the second half, a brilliant 3 pointer.

    KTF

  2. big sammy has stood up and agreed with lenny about not being an out and out stiker now look at him he terrorises team they dont know how to deal with him ,a complete team performance and big dan should hold his head high it was never a sending off just another very incompetent ref ,

  3. Scottish Football is soiling it’s collective underwear at the thought of

Neil Francis Lennon leading Celtic to the Treble this season

And you know what, Lenny is gonna do it

  4. Today’s result and the mannerin which we got it, fully strengthens my reasoning to my post at the opening of this thread. We need to just take it one game at a time, no fans going on clyde midweek making statements such as leagues over by march, we are champions already, MIB will do all in their power not to make our win easy. Brown Man-Of-March, why is clyde talking about English football.

    Hail Hail

    Finn

  5. Solid performance, with 5 in shout for MON. Ledley, Wanyama, Mulgrew, Brown and Sammi. Another clean sheet. I have to give it to Ledley, but Brown and Sammi also brilliant.

We need to ensure we are 2 goals up as MIB will take any opportunity. They almost scored from that free kick.

    Another clean sheet’

  6. Given the level of bias and incompetence shown by the officials today I think this result was massively significant in the course of how this season will pan out.

Some terrific performances; Broonie superb; Sammi led the line magnificently and big Joe was just big Joe. Mulgrew was also immense.

Now we have Butcher refusing to speak to the BBC because he is raging about the officials.

Have to say I think both sendings off were ridiculous.

  7. Big Tel seemingly spitting mad and in too much of a huff to be interviewed on live radio.

    Shame, really …

  8. Ah, fur Wan.. hiv not the slightest Difficulty in Deciding

Which Player ,today..should be Awarded the Golden

    Certificate..

    SCOTT BROWN..

    That’s Three Woids.. ye say..?

    So..

    Sue Me!

    That’s , In Ma Opinion…

Two Wonderful Performancecs in Succession , for Scott.

    Wan ..Mair.. and

Great Victory, in the face of Extremely Shoddy Refereeing.

    Kojo.

    Happy as Larry.

  9. Only managed to catch the last 20 minutes so not really sure what went on before it.

Commentators on the atrocious streams I caught it on were fairly perplexed about the officials performances – maybe that will put to bed the nonsensical accusation that we have turned referees into poor victims scared to give anything the dastardly Celtic.

What I did see was inspirational energy from Scott Brown – Samaras once again had me scratching my eyes to the point I was nearly gauging them out – but my eyes werent failing me!

There were a couple of the more prone to ‘hands on hips’ harrassing and chasing at the end.

This current Celtic team will not allow themselves to not win this league.

I really do believe they are at the point where they would be willing to literally walk through brick walls to win.

    Well done bhoys

  10. Well there can be absolutely no doubt that the ‘brotherhood of “referees” ‘ will do there bit to help the huns keep close to us after that

Celtic did extremely well today to beat 14 men as both linesmen and the ‘ref’ gave some astonishingly blatant decisions against us today.

We may not have played the vintage free flowing football all day (although we did in patches) but we never got the chance to as the ‘cheating mason in the black’ made it quite clear that he could get away with bending (or ignoring) the rules to suit the opposition at every opportunity.

At one point in the 2nd half I was reminded of a game at Celtic park against the huns when hugh dallas actually gave us a free kick only to allow the defensive wall to stand no more than 7 yards away from the ball.

Anybody else remember Tom Boyd pacing out the 10 yards at least 3 yards past the wall only to receive a yellow card for his troubles? and the wall was allowed to stay exactly where it was!!!!

As for the straight red card on Big Dan! if you watch the direction of the ball you will see he did play the ball and he wasn’t even the last man back as i think it was adam matthews about 4 or 5 yards to the right and closing

Anyway well done Celtic for the 3 points and well done Lenny on your 100th game in charge

    Hail Hail

  11. Uber Hun Big Tel spitting the dummy out and sitting in the dug out – ahh didums. Is he upset that with even 14 guys on the field they still couldn’t score?

  12. Terry Butcher “pure raging” – displaying (as usual) his full range of emotion from A to B. He better watch or we’ll get type-cast.

  13. What’s the prob. with this site?….keeps crashing.

Terry Butcher incensed with the reffing!…..rofl….he was delighted for most of the game!

Again, commentators calling Bhoys red card “incomprehensible”.

“How long has this been goin’ on.”

I remember it well, but was it not kenny clark.

  15. Joe Filippis Haircut on

At the end of the day it was a good 3 points for the hoops keeping us 4 ahead in the league I dont know why we found it hard going today as we should have to much in our locker for ICT.One player that does not impress me in the hoops is Ki he doesnt stamp his authority on the game but is happy to pass the ball side ways or backwards and he doesnt create much.My man of the match would have to be Joe Ledley he scored his goal and he worked like a trojan through out the game well done to Lenny and the Bhoys.H.H.

  16. Terry Butcher’s (Apron)……..

    ‘Seething’ apparently.

    Aye ok Terence……….

  17. NL on shortbread thrilled with the team. Our keeper never had a save to make! A tough game and a great result. Not too happy with the ref but he didn’t get much help from his assistants.

  18. the hooped crusader on

A hard fought but deserved victory, the ref tried his best to stop Celtic get into any kind of rythm. My screen froze at the big Dan challenge so did not see what happened. Scott Brown was superb today as was Joe16, Sammi and big Chaz, great character shown by the whole team a few months ago we would have dropped points but Lenny`s Lion`s are fighting for everything, great team spirit and will to win.

Tax dodgers get no chink of light, good enough fur thum.

  19. Jeg er Neil Lennon-Greeninbingley on

Just in and got the score. Now to read back to see what happened. Well done the Bhoys and Lenny. 4 clear.

One game at a time and this could be the real watershed season for us. The Huns are looking after themselves in going down the grubber.

Just keep winning, bhoys, keep winning!

    Hail Hail!

  20. Steven McLean is the one who is employed full time to recruit referees ……. reminds of the day when Kissinger was given Nobel Peace Prize.

  21. Not surprised that Butcher is raging.

He’s a bad loser and knows that they should have taken advantage of the breaks they were handed by the officials.

    Hee Haw.

    Lubo.

  22. i remember that well ive said ever since that the celtic captain should do as tommo done worth a yellow to show the blatant cheating

  23. Neil Lennon says NO to Besna

Good man it probably was Kenny clark, I stand corrected

Kenny Clark/ Hugh Dallas, memory of hun refs can fade into seeing them as all the same person!!!

    Hail Hail

I fully expect butcher to complain about the ref…..

As i said at 17:06 im not surprised.

I couldn’t make the game due to illness but from what i seen and have read the mibs done everything possible to try and cost us points.

That for butcher is’nt enough and he has put pressure on the next mib to give Celtic nothing.

Like everyone on here i’d love Neil or Celtic to make an official complaint or at least a heavily worded statement and let them know we are watching them.

Sometimes games like this are better than 5-0 or 6-0.

    LET THE PEOPLE SING!!

  25. Thwarted Butcher interviewer tells us that Butch was raging last week, but id ragingier this week.

He was sitting alone in the Celtic dugout, trying to compose himself.

He has Neil’s minder standing close by.

Either on suicide watch or to protect the dugout structure.

  26. ‘ref’ only gave 2nd. red card late on to fake ‘honesty’ so he can keep his ‘job’.Another meeja commentator called the reffing,” strange”.

Nuthin’ strange when you’re a card carryin’ Lodge member…..member being the operative word.

  27. Raging about Dan’s card overlooks the fact that he switched off and nearly cost us dearly. He has a tendency to do that and then try to rescue the situation with clumsy challenges. He makes me nervous, I think we are more solid at the back without him. Scott Brown was immense today can’t praise him enough. Excellent performances from Sammi and Joe Ledley too. Hope ICT show same commitment when the Huns go up there in a couple of weeks.

  28. Ten Men Won The League on

Isn’t it strange how Butcher is ‘seething’ today but was a model of composure after the game at Ibrox earlier in the season, when his side had 2 stonewall penalties denied and an ‘offside’ goal mysteriously disallowed?

  29. Well done Bhoys, great result considering Steven McLean’s best efforts to ensure he gets the next Old Firm game*

Brown was awesome, as was Ledley, and I am just loving the resurrection of Georgios Samaras!

    There was a guy who was able to pull clips from Radio Scotland – I cant remember who from Chick Young maybe;

When the huns were in for the Euro Cup it had the potential to do this and that for them

Straight after interview after the huns had been put out – saying it was going to be a distraction for Celtic

    Where is that man!?

Id love someone to have the time and knowhow to trawl through interviews and pin the hypocricies that these huns and ex huns come out with

Its the most unprofessional thing a person can do or be!

  31. Lisb\o/nbhoy who thinks Neil Lenn('0')n is a legend on

Hebcelt are we meeting at the crystal palace before the quiz.

  32. Kojo

    I have to disagree.

Brownie should already be in the will, just so long as he doesn’t get my share.

Anyway, he is the POTM for January so he has been consistent and outstanding all this year.
