I remember in the aul days, Ayrtic used to appear with the ole transfer gossip if/when we were signing somebody.

Has he/she appeared? Or was Ayrtic actually WGS or Garry Pendry?

On a seperate note, 38 pages of posts!!!! Is this a record??!!!

Friesdorfer Instead of having another pop at Celtic compare like for like. Go into decent pubs in centre of Glasgow an Edinburgh an see what change you get out of fiver for same drink. On the same token i can get can of carlsberg in local shop for 50p a can but can’t get pint for anything less than 3 quid in any pubs round me. Celtic fans scunner me sometimes. Super market prices different to pubs shocker. Hold front page

    Afternoon,all.

Having read back,I have to grudgingly agree that there is way too much negativity on here at the moment.

I used to consider myself as an “Über-mineschafter” but now I’m virtually a middle-grounder!

Over the last few years I have seen happyclappers change to mineshafting, and that alone should be a cause for concern.

Cynicism and pessimism is not the default position of these posters, but that is how they now feel.

Those in charge need to waken up to the fact that current policies are alienating a large part of their bedrock support.

That alone should be viewed as a reason for review of those policies.

I don’t think there is any point in arguing about our policy this summer particularly as it is nearly gone.

But it had better be seen as a lesson learnt by a CEO who seems to believe he is infallible and in total control of every aspect of the club.

Win or lose on Wednesday,Peter Lawwell has severely effed up.

His ego needs to be reined in. Now.

Btw,delighted to have PADDY GALLAGHER back. Happyclapper bassa though he may be.

  9. The Scotman reporting we have signed Pukki. Apologies if already posted but just nipping in before the Mayo v Tyrone game starts. Injury list looks bad for Wednesday.

CELTIC face injury crisis ahead of Karagandy tie but look to have landed Teemu Pukki; McInnes blames Brown for touchline bust-up and Rangers hire spin doctor to launch fightback against investors.

Celtic clinch Pukki signing but face Karagandy injuries sweat

CELTIC have reportedly clinched a deal for Finland international striker Teemu Pukki. The Schalke striker is due to jet in to Glasgow on Monday to tie up a deal that would see the 23-year-old pull on the green and white hoops – but he would be ineligible to face Kazakh outfit Shakhter Karagandy. Pukki, who has scored six goals in 24 international games, has been the subject of sustained interest from the Parkhead side, who turned their attentions to the German-based forward after being priced out of a move for Heerenveen striker Alfreð Finnbogason – and Neil Lennon hinted after his side’s 2-2 Draw with Inverness CT that he would be signing a striker and midfielder during the course of the next week.

    Injury worries

However, the Celtic boss faces a sweat over a number of stars ahead of the must-win return leg against Shakhter Karagandy. Beram Kayal limped off with a groin strain after 22 minutes yesterday and will miss out, while striker Anthony Stokes is rated ‘doubtful’ by Lennon. Defender Virgil Van Dijk tweaked his hamstring during the match while James Forrest is ‘50-50’, according to the Hoops boss who is hopeful that Kris Commons and Georgios Samaras – who sat out the 2-2 draw with the Caley Jags – will be fit. Lennon could also be without Derk Boerrigter, leaving him short on attacking options in a game where he needs goals.

  10. Key to victory on Weds night is to keep the tempo as high as possible along with quicker movement of the ball to the wide areas. I would also like to see us test the goalkeeper from outside the box where we seem reluctant to shoot.

Anyway off out to watch another big match….C’mon Mayo!!

  11. New article wont make much difference anyway.. The arguments have been the same past 2weeks

Watching big vic play here for southampton.. Big man hardly broke sweat but playing well.

  12. I thought Watt looked lost yesterday. Maybe he was in the wrong position but he has not impressed me so far this season.

The real criticism of Celtic for a long, long time is that there is no movement off the ball. To that must be added that we seldom pass the ball forward that a player can move on to. Far too often, we pass sideways or even behind the player. Why?

I’m sure we have players well capable of such pass and movement, like our captain’s pass and Mathew’s movement that resulted in the second goal yesterday. Much more of this, Celtic, please.

  13. Thanks guys for your very welcome best wishes. It’s times like these one realises what a very special family we belong to. There is one thing I cannot move from my head, it’s the thought of seeing Summa and TBJ doing the Frasbury Flop. Hehehe once again, thanks guys. BTW some of the comments were brilliant. :))

  21. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

for those who have decided that they are old style supporters

and that those who disagree with them are new style supporters

what age do you need to be an old style supporter

am 51 and have spent maist of my life disagreeing with the Celtic board

i was raised under the whytes and kellys

i part of the celts for (loose) change

and sack the board back the team

if going thru all that makes me a new style celtic supporter – then it sound very much like i am an internet bampot, much rather be one of those than one of the huns who beleievd everything that CG and CW told them to believe

incidentally if you only want one opoinion of our club, then probably the celtic view if where you want to hang out! if there is a forum there im sure its all very pro the board and no one has any concerns

IMO we are ALL celtic fans even the young GB mob and the old main stand mob

but that doesnt mean we all have the same opionion
