  1. The Spirit of Arthur Lee on

He did the mash, he did the monster mash

The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash

He did the mash, it caught on in a flash

  2. CELTIC: Zaluska; Lustig, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Mulgrew; Wakaso, Johansen, Stokes; Guidetti.

Subs: Fasan, Matthews, Ambrose, Scepovic, Griffiths, Kayal, McGregor.

  3. Why, when we’ve enjoyed 5-0 6-0 victories playing 4-3-3, does Ronny go back to 4-2-3-1?

My guess is he’s set on usingthis shape against Astra (despite the poor performance when they visited Celtic Park, where we played 4-2-3-1) and wants the defenders & midfielders to get used to it.

Perhaps understandable, as we won’t have Guidetti, central to the success of 4-3-3, for that game.

Dropped points potential high in this game, then. If Ronny gets a 5th straight victory, his stock will rise considerably.

  4. Ah. All the cute buggers were just lining up waiting for a podium. I was wondering why the old thread was so quiet.

  5. up over goal, Is that not the team that started last day except for Keeper & Wakaso for McGregor, which happened at half time last game/

  6. Give us Dundee Unt today in the cup.Let the Dons do the mob.

    Sick listening to the MSM.

A nice wee win today,to keep the momentum going.

  7. Brown, Mulgrew and Johansson. If he plays these 3 in midfield, we’ll be fine. Ronny’s biggest fault this season has been trying to get away with just 2 on there.

It’s the same team as Wednesday, Wakaso in McGregor’s place

Wed Celtic played 4-3-3, as they had done against Ross County. Today’s formation, the way it appears on the teamsheet, is 4-2-3-1, Johansen behind Guidetti (like v Astra and Kilmarnock). I’m not so keen on that, as I think it weakens the midfield and too often isolates the striker.

(Teamsheets can be misleading, I know)

  11. Good morning from a damp dreich eastern seaboard.
