See this bit about it’s ok being just 1 ahead and how we get our reward in the last 20 mins because other teams tire..
What happens when they are fitter or at least as fit ?
What about European teams?
What happens to our reward then?
Different tactics needed now and again methinks

Had a chat with those around me about the ST price increase. Guy behind me says he would pay £100 extra, one of the guys in front of me had a bit of a moan but said he would pay it without question. That guy moans about everything mind you. Thought the crowd and atmosphere today was really good.

Great day out in Paradise just got better.
Backed the Scottish horse in the Grand National, One For Arthur 14/1 winner.
Enjoyed Tom Rogic’s contribution when he came on and the dimension Moussa gives us.
Back home to find I backed the wrong Scottish horse in the Grand National, with my other selection, in keeping with tradition, by falling at the first.
That’s why I am a once a year mug punter

Hello this is WEE BGFC. Grigavon sent the specials out to shoot the people down!
Cause of Causes, Gas Line Boy, for me. e-w. 2nd & 5th. Money back.
Main bet on Cocktails at Dawn. Interestingly, it tried to burrow through the first fence instead of jumping it. Think I spotted its weakness.

Craigavon sent the Specials out,
To shoot the people down,
He thought the IRA were dead,
In dear old Belfast town,
But he got a rude awakening,
When with rifle and grenade,
He met the First Battalion,
Of the Belfast Brigade.

Good stuff with the national winner, me & my sister had it as well with Finnians Oscar, a smashing wee each way double 3/1 & 16/1 …….. Arthur is one of our cousins & Finn is my sisters Grandson….. Our very own Leftclicktic knows the Arthur I speak of even better than I do
Leftclicktic next time you see AC tell him I only picked it because of his dad not him :-)

Was painting outside of house and lost track of time. Raced to bookies and was too late.
Only family bets, who haven’t paid yet anyway but would have expected their payout.
How i cheered as they fell. Phew!!!!

Happened to me a few years back.
Forgot to put my sister’s fiver on the Grand National. Her horse was leading at 16/1, I was cheering when it was overtaken and beat. £85 would have bankrupted me back then. :)
My own money was on Blacklion….. I only got some cash back as I doubled up with my sister, (she picked the family names) more importantly in GFS Spurs notched 4, so far round 1 one goal, round 2 two goals, round 3 four goals, at this rate I might joker round four as it might be eight goals ????

That song was originally called The First Cork Brigade, the Belfast Boys stole it & changed a lot of the lyrics to suit themselves .
I posted the original lyrics here a few years back & got yellow carded, should have permanently flounced at the time but didn’t. Hopefully a less reactionary mood now prevails.
Well done Celtic and well done anyone who backed the National winner and placed nags. My old Da had the winner, the daughter got some of her ( mine) money back with a second spot, she did send me a lovey photo of our Henrik from the Nou Camp museum today.
My day was spent dismantling a huge wardrobe and chest of drawers, before rebuilding them in the upstairs bedroom at the daughters, so my planned trip to Celtic Park was scuppered. Shame, never mind I may watch Aberdeen put their wits against the best ever Portuguese coach who coached in Quatar and Scotland then tomorrow. Enjoy the evening everyone. HH

People getting stressed about the lyrics in Cabaret? Wow, that’s a whole new dimension of too much time on yer hands and too little to occupy them right there.
