Champions elect suffer setback at Celtic Park
Well played Celtic, playing 12 men as usual. Benkovic naive to dive in but so many bad tackles by Kilmarnock went unpunished by a very lenient referee.
Pat Bonner admits he missed the foul on Izzy, never saw it. Then says ‘Get up it was probably nothing’. Your a defender for goodness sake!
When is the last time you saw only 1 added minute in a game ?

Referee was a cheating arsehole.
Shocking refereeing , that sadly isn’t shocking at all.
When Celtic play to their strengths it allows that gap in class to really count.

Despite an incredibly biased performance by a hun with a whistle Celtic triumph.
He was as blatant a cheat as you could see and his contrasting application of the rules was obvious.
Great performance from everyone and particularly pleased for SS who was back to his best.

Ref a prick but top of the League will do for me.
Sincy played a bit better today but Sincy of old would have had at least 2 goals from the chances he had.

IMHO Pat Bonner was a better goalie for the Republic than us, wee Skip Tae Ma Lou did the right thing in giving both him and p’s and barley a free only for TB to rescind it. Wee rumour was that he was behind Shay Given being let go as seen him a threat

P.S 7 (that’s SEVEN ) minutes injury time at The Emirates in the Arsenal game.
Putting the ball in the net 5 times takes the referee out of affecting the result but I hope Brendan calls the ref out on some of the challenges on our players which, if injured, CAN affect our results.

Did Sparkie touch the ball when he came on ? if ever a player needed a goal to help his confidence its Sparkie. A first class result for Brendan and the Bhoys against Kilmarnock unfortunately Sparkie and Incham looked well off the pace and Sinclair still not the player he was. Top of the league where we belong .H.H.

Hadn’t realized you were still under the weather. Hope you feel better soon.
Great first half of football. Shows what happens when the midfield is humming …makes life so much easier for everyone around them. whereas as Brown was so deep on Wednesday when he would start play (often between the two CB’s), which gave Motherwell time to get back, Calmac was more advanced, and moved the ball so much more quickly, oFten before defence was set, making it so much easier for the forwards who had room to play. And RC gives us that drive through the middle that we have been missing since Armstrong. Plus he covers back very well. Looks a real find.
Only ‘problem’ is that I think ON might still be our most talented midfielder. When he is on, some of his passing is sublime. Would love to see us try a formation where all three were involved. But that is not the worst problem to have.
With that midfield, Feeling much more confident about Europe.
If KT doesn’t make it, not a problem with Izzy, it was like he has never been away, he was magic.
We could have hit double figures today and it would not have flattered us, we were that good.
