  1. Delaneys Dunky on

On bus home to Clydebank after seeing Almore off to Dublin. Great game choice. That ref was at it, as in cheating. Disgraceful performance by the hun wi a whistle. 5 crackin goals clamped him.

  2. Well, nearly a 5-0 for CRC’s big 5….0. Once again a big HOOPY HOOPY Fantastic Birthday to CQN’s Mister Celtic. Glass raised and now swallowed. Slainte!!!

“You could argue that Benković was due a 2nd yellow for giving away the penalty, though that would’ve been very harsh”

Don;t think he had a first yellow- that was Jozo

    —————–

You’re right for some reason I thought it was Benkovic that got the yellow for the block early on, which to me wasn’t a yellow

  4. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

For me McGregor edged MotM, Izzy for the lack of game time was exceptional slotting in as if he’d been playing all season.

I don’t often make predictions on our games until 5 minutes before the game. The closer to kick off the more confident I am.

So not sure why I have this overwhelming feeling that tomorrow, regardless of the team line up, that we will give Kilmarnock a doing tomorrow. 3 or 4 goal margin.

Perhaps, it’s the knowledge that we need to beat Kilmarnock to go top AND beat whatever score Sevco get against Dundee.

    I’ll be there.

    ———

Hmmm…. Wish I’d bashed the bookies with that prediction!

  6. Good evening CQN from a very happy Garngad

Great football today, could have been more goals, but 5 will do.

  7. Watching Chelsea v Man city.

Chelsea have used the same formula as many others have used with great success against Pep’s teams in Europe of squeezing space between defense and midfield.

City with a lot of non threatening possession.

His strict adherence to the passing game is his nemesis and the reason he has not won in Europe for 7 seasons.

Everyone talks about his attention to detail so you would think he had a plan b for when opponents set up like this.

  8. Pog, yep on Arbroath Emerald CSC bus just past Broxden, great day oot, if a tad wet! Stop pulling teeth fgs! HH

Many thanks, I have heard of this place , locals tell me it is fantastic and they know that Pep diners there often. I enjoy Evuna in the Northern Quarter for some very decent tapas down there, but I understand that Catala takesnitbto another level. Perhaps when the boss is over he can pick up the tab.

  10. really excited about the way we are playing, please keep it going, if we win on Thursday what happens next,hh.

  11. Big Odsonne needs to learn to pass the ball quicker to the man in space instead of being greedy and always trying to work the ball onto his right foot to get a shot at goal.

I get that he is eager to score goals but it could have cost us in the final and he did it a couple of times today as well.

He is young though so will hopefully learn

  12. prestonpans bhoys on

    Friesdorfer

Noticed your banner in Montfords last week, Pans CSC was in the opposite corner and we were very well behaved for a change?⚽

  13. Random thoughts.

Izzy. Football ability is a delight. Has lost some flat out pace. But still plenty of zip off the mark. Ran out of gas and was in danger of a second booking. Brilliant to see him in action again.

Sinclair. Yes sir. Something annoyed him and he went into overdrive. Shame he hit the bar with a pearler and slipped when shooting after skinning a dozen players. Great.

Forrest. Such a great finish for both goals. That is pure confidence. And skill.

Christie. Hard to find enough superlatives to describe his contribution. Phenomenal.

MacGregor. Despite all the praise for the above players, he was yet again my MotM.

And as a team, best of the season in that first half.

  14. Ads is it.

I don’t know what everyone else is getting but I am wringing wet with rapido aquaman pop ups.

    Splash

  15. Thank you, Celtic.

Great result today and great play too. Some of our football (especially in the 1st half) was as good as anything we have played in years. (And we have played a lot of good football over the last couple of season..)

MacGregor just gets better and better. How can he keep it up? He has to be kept in that position, where he is ably assisted by Rogic and Christie.

HH fella, I agree with all of your post.

    Well said. HH

    CELTICROLLERCOASTER, Happy birthday. √

  17. Delaneys Dunky on

There’s a Starman playing on the right.

His name is Jamesie Forrest and he’s feckin dynamite.

    David Bowie CSC

  18. Fraser Wishart, said on SSB earlier that, VAR will not be coming to Scottish football, as its too expensive.

    Hmmmmmm ?

Anywye, the stars of today, were the supporters inside Celtic Park, on a very cold, wet, and windy day. √

    Well done.

Thanks for that. From my seat, I wasn`t able to see if the ref was right. Having seen that clip, I think he was.

I also thought that he was nowhere near as biased as many in here are claiming. He wasn`t great and made some obvious mistakes but I didn`t think he was terrible .
