And no one asked him to quantify that statement , anyway more chance of Killie winning it than that mob?

  2. Good evening friends.

And today’s teaser is… “Was Sevco’s disallowed onside goal a worse decision than last week’s allowed offside goal?”

In other news – Copa Liberatores final at 7.30….3 or more goals in the game 6/4 – fill yer boots!

    Good evening folks

The final two contestants went into this week with all gun(ner)s blazing, both selecting Arsenal. Well that’s what they hoped for. Arsenal decided to go back to their boring boring tag until the 83rd minute until it finished 1-0 to the Arsenal. So our dynamic duo of Gutenberg and TravelBhoy’s Pardnur move onto Week 12

    Good luck to both

  5. Am off to Alicante tomorow for a week to celebrate my 70th birthday.

Anyone know of any ‘Celtic’ bars in Alicante city or nearby Albufureta that might be showing the Salzburg game?

Possibly some ‘English’ sports bars in town with Sky, etc.?

Errrr, didn’t you lose your last game?

There are loads of Irish bars in Alicante that show Celtic games. Murphy’s and Doolans were two I watched us in. You will have no problem finding a pub with Celtic game on.

Alicante is Green and White! ?

I can’t help with the Celtic bars but, hey, have a blast and enjoy your 70th birthday celebrations.

As Paul McGrath said recently, it’s a privilege to grow old, not everyone is fortunate enough to do so.

    Enjoy.

  13. Last Man Standing 11 Week 12

    Good Evening,

So we go on to round 12 of Last Man Standing. To our final two contestants, congratulations on forcing a further confrontation, which may see the most difficult decisions yet.

After 11 rounds, it’s becoming more and more difficult, as the number of ‘big teams’ available to be picked diminishes for our contestants. Interesting choices to be made this week.

Here are the fixtures for Round 12. Five games on Saturday and Five on Sunday.

    Send your selections to cqnpredictor@gmail.com

morning bhoys, on this day in 1971 my grandfather passed away, never forget it ,although a big celtic man he also loved his local team albion rovers or as he would say the wee rovers, also you could not say a word against john hughes or big yogi as he called him, he was the greatest since sliced bread according to my grandad, what he would think of todays millionaire players I shudder to think, although suffering ill health for many years before he died probably as a result of going down bedlay colliery when he was 14 and not coming out until he was 65, he never missed 8- oclock mass every day,,rest in peace grandad,.peter mcwilliams-1898-1971.

  21. Leaving goal difference and games played aside, the top 4 are currently Celtic on 33, Kilmarnock and Sevco on 31 and Hearts on 30.

Nest Friday Hearts visit Livingston – a win puts them joint top. On Saturday Kilmarnock host Dundee – a win puts them top. Sunday lunchtime, we visit HIbs and will have the chance of either staying top or regaining top spot. Then, at 3pm, Sevco host Hamilton with an albeit very unlikely chance that a in could put them top.

Hard to argue that we don’t currently have a pretty competitive top division!
