  1. Dexter P. Bampot on

    Hanging on.

    3 mins.

We cannot deny Killie actually don’t deserve to lose.

Major changes needed for the summer if we want to compete in CL qualifiers.

  2. FT 1%0

    3 points. 1 to go.

For anyone depending on CAN that was 3 nail biting minutes added on as CQN tried to leave the stadium early

  3. Relief! We got the result in the end, so well done.

Meanwhile, the SFA will be crazy if they don’t offer the Scotland job to Steve Clarke.

  4. Well done, Bhoys. Almost over the line and a win to honor our King Billy (although it looks like Billy played a divine part in it).

    ????????

  5. Celtic, like a drunk man going round in circles knowing he will somehow make his way home.

NL was slumped back in his seat for most of the game as the team struggled on the pitch.

Are there really 10,000 on a waiting list to watch more of that next year?

  6. Bain is excellent , kept us level in the first half, the midfield is woeful two wide players are not producing, Rogic a luxury player, McGregor has retreated over the half way line, big changes to tactics and personnel required here.Eduard cannot lead the line althought a good foil for someone, 3 pts is all that matters today but that seriously worried me today as I could not see how we were going to score.

How did Sinclair stay on the park? Even poorer than normal today. Tom ,Eddy and James not gar behind but Sinclair? Dearie me.

No doubt though , that the team has not been rebuilt properly as it should , during the 7 going on 8 in a row, which is negligent.

Hence , we have not made the most of our potential and financial advantage.

  8. 3 points won on a special day for the Celtic family. Not the time to analyse yet another perplexingly poor performance from the team.

    Hail Hail Billy McNeill YNWA

  9. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Great three points. Well done all.

Some fairly significant negatives but they can wait for another day.

    Enjoy.

  10. Total relief rather than joy for me. I have seen a lot of weird co-incidences in my life but for our centre half wearing the iconic 5 jersey to head the winner in the 67th minute on this ‘ Billy McNeill’ game gives me belief in a higher Power.

There is no doubt that we are not playing with confidence and unfortunately there will be a huge question mark over Lenny’s suitability for job long term but that can wait till another day.

  11. All I wished for, on this emotional day, was to be 12 points clear at the final whistle.

    Job done. ??

How fitting and almost spiritual that the winner was scored by number 5 on the 67th minute!! You couldn’t script that…

Another game ticked off on the way to 8….

    Hail Hail ??

  12. The Green Brigade display today was their best one ever.

    Pure class.

    HH. ?

  13. The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on

Unsure what the loan bhoys have to do to get a chance. I suspect we won’t see any of them this season again (unless injuries/suspensions come into play).

  14. Maybe I’m mistaken but I think it’s a thing where a team’s form dips as the finishing line approaches. Whether it’s complacency, nerves or thinking about transfers or holidays, I don’t know. Anyway, 12 points ahead and on we go.

  15. Other than his oh so important goal, i thought Jozo was excellent again.

His surging runs forward were the only time we looked really dangerous.

Well done Celtic, getting the 3 points the most important thing.

  16. Today, just happy to have won, analysis into the performance can wait.

67 minutes on the clock, our No.5 (who was outstanding today, well done Jozo) scores a header in the mould of our greatest ever Captain.

Who was it that said “there’s a fairytale about this club”? He certainly knew his stuff ;0)

  17. onenightinlisbon on

Good 3 points, very poor performance. Lennon doesn’t seem to see the deficiencies during a game. Sinclair tries hard but surely Burke was due at least half an hour? New manager has a big job on his hands if 9 is to be comfortable.
