  1. Callum has been the standout player this Season. Well done Callum, a richly deserved reward for incredible consistency and very high skill levels no matter where you have been played.

  2. Gerry,

Broony has been playing with great experience and deserves to be mentioned for the award. Definitely Callum looking over the whole Season. ;))

  3. Petec 12.01am

Paul McStay is my hero .. Broony is doing a Maestro

They might not be big Billy but the two of them are my hero’s :-) ?

  4. I have shed a few tears in the last 10 days … big Billy at 79, two Celtic fans from the scheme I live weeKev McWilliams at 47… and Regi Walters at 53 (Big Shuggy you will know him) then MAH… from this dear place .. sometimes we don’t realise how lucky we are … sorry for the rant .. but some of us Celtic fans should be happy for no other reason that we are Celtic fans :-)

    Murdoch Auld & Hay ???

  5. Gerry,

Midfielders have always been the ones I love the most.

The Maestro was just so Amazing and I Thank the Almighty I got to see him frae the Wonderful Jungle (got to the centre most of the times hehe) when he wis just being Paul McStay.

The Greatest ever for me. That is because I witnessed him week in week out.

We are a Blessed Club – I have no doubts about that.

  6. Petec 12.19am

Chic Charnley was on SSB the other night favourite ground

    Celtic Park

    Favourite game

Old Trafford when Lou Macari nearly signed him

    Hardest opponent- Paul McStay

Chic Charnley said the Maestro was as hard as nails … but we already knew that

    Paul McStay CSC

  7. Gerry,

    Paul never shirked a challenge.

A lot of high skilled midfielders are bottle merchants when it comes to tackling.

Paul was World Class in the fitba department and also a brilliant tackler. Broony has played a few Maestroesque passes this Season. :)

  8. Before I close my eyes … never let another’s attitude influence your own grief … let the Huns sit with their hands in their pockets … an pretty sure our King Billy didn’t need there clap …… God Bless wee Craig White ?

  9. Watching Chris Davies Brendan Rodgers against Aberdeen …. even Andy Walker sounds more sincere than our old insebcejre mansbcee

  10. Gerry,

    Celtic Sympathy?

I agree with Paul. Njoi it as much as you can.

Thank You Ronny D for helping Celtic hopefully, getting 8 Titles in a row.

Billy said to gie the ball to Paul as he knew he was World Class.

  11. was reading comments about James Forrest after game

    1. he has scored a lot of good goals

    2. he has assist also

    3. too many games he his missing, he will be MOTM one week then 3 weeks missing, we need 11 players on the park games eg at Easter road and Sat he was missing . we don’t need a winger to sit on touchline when we only have one striker

also when did this one striker happen, by my recollection it started under Neil when at one point we had 3 non goal scoring strikers after we sold Hooper to balance the books.

after then NL so no point in fielding two non scoring strikers.

we must as a team go back to two strikers peter splash the cash , stories of us splashing 4.5m on a striker, is an insult to intelligence we had bout 10m surplus in bank then we sold demeble

splash the cash peter give out new boss( and sorry it cant be NL) the money

  12. Fool Time Whistle on

    Lewis Morgan

Back from on loan at Sunderland for next season.

    Martyn Shved

    Manny Perez

    Andrew Gutman

Four signings already made for next season.

    Anymore?

  13. Fool Time Whistle,

Callum had a Wonderful spell @ Notts County and is now the Richly deserved POTY.

Lewis hasn’t been hitting the same heights but who knows anything.

  14. Petec 1.19am

I am happy with Celtic not needing to win …. Thankfully Celtic winning or losing is a very small part of my life life now am a father / grandfather

I used to think it was important :-)

    But not now ?

  15. Following Celtic in the 80s & 90s was pretty dam amazing … Tannadice could give you vertigo “back in the day” ….

  16. By all accounts Leicester were 50/50 between Brendan & Rafa … Rafa refused to leave Newcastle until his contract was completed …

In the summer Rafa will leave Sports Direct, ah mean Newcastle …

    Rafa ? ?

  17. Wonder why a manager facing a possible treble treble and a possible 9 trophies on the bounce would even contemplate leaving ????

me me me me & me

Billy McNeill didn’t win too many trophies as our manager .. ask yourself this question would our King Billy have left ?

    Rhetorical question

    There’s only 1King Billy .. and that’s McNeill

  18. 4.24am

Celtic Park time is probably bedtime for my primary 6 MissGFTB … she is fast becoming a wee rebel .. thankfully I have the patience to play the long game as her two big sisters & mother are are all sevconians) and I love the blinking lot of them…… Melbourne Mick hit the nail on the head … hsjf of my family support the Huns … but there is a big difference between DIzv £ orange basket …. my wee 3yr old granddaughter will never support Celtic …… but she knows herGrandas and Aunty MissGFTB do :-)

  19. Apologies for the typos what meant to post was

  20. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

“By all accounts” aye great way to start an unsubstantiated dig, let’s see, by all accounts BR was told to clear his desk and not to speak to anyone, because £9M was too good an offer to turn down.

  21. Canman 4.41am

    Unsubstantiated???

Remember am not intelligent enough for you to converse with … so why bother ?

    Unhappy Celtic fan dot com

Remember I hold the advantage :-)

  22. Canman

The advantage being far more people have informed me you are a tosser and the same people think I am a tosser but thankfully not even close as much as your good self ,, I base my opinions on facts .,, you can base yours on supposition … remember for somebody who is more intelligent than me and won’t respond to my posts … wonder how that’s going ??

  23. GuyFawkesaforeverhero on

Two newspaper articles for Celts across the world to read today.

Keith Jackson has surprised me with his fulsome tribute to Cesar. No slant or edge to my eyes, only well written, honest warmth.

Simon Collins in the Derry Journal on Oxford Bulls v Paddy McCourt’s Celtic Legends. 5th May 1pm, Brandywell Stadium is the place to be. Congratulations to everyone involved.

    Celtic forever.

  24. Good morning CQN from a dry but chilly Garngad

So we move onto the sheep on Saturday and get the chance to win the league again, let’s take this opportunity as w are fast running out of games. 1point needed but I think we will get all 3? and what a day will be had. ?????

Get the league won on Saturday and give the Griffalo a run out against Sevco the following week?

    D. :)

  25. Win next weekend and I fancy us to take all 9 remaining points.

Lose and it’ll be self-inflicted squeaky bum time and the worst preparation for the Cup Final.

Against that backdrop, it would be great to the Tic flying out the blocks with a sense of purpose that has so often been lacking.

    HH jg

  26. morning bhoys from a sunny Cheshire, just lets do it celtic, for Stephen and billy.hh.

  27. At Pittodrie on Saturday the team need to do everything they can to deliver this point.

If we get beat (and on current form it wouldn’t come as a shock) then the gap is cut to 6 points (Huns will beat Hibs at Ibrox).

Given that the powers that be at the SFA and their appointed officials will do everything in their power to stop a title party at Ibrox then I can only see a defeat on May 12th.

That means a final day decider at home to Hearts and yes, we would probably get the draw/win but by god can you imagine the tension and the pressure going into that weekend knowing that we could potentially blow it?

I am mentally preparing myself for this possibility, which after the recent Glasgow derby seemed an impossibility.

I am surprised that so many fans, pundits and bookies have shrugged their shoulders and talked as though the league is already won. I really dislike assumptions in sport (don’t like the 10IAR songs and never have, sing about it when it’s won please).

Anyway, it’s all about the Aberdeen game. Treat it like a cup final and please go in to the match aiming to score early and WIN the game rather than feeling our way into the game and then attempting not to lose.

Is it just me that is nervous of a last day decider? Surely there are other bedwetters out there? Haha
