Can anyone recommend a pub in Edinburgh, to watch next week’s game away to Livingstone?

    ——————————————————

Malone’s, Morrison St. near Haymarket Station mate. They have a a few screens upstairs and down. Worth checking with them – the Man U game is on at same time. Chances are they’re showing both though.

Huns aren’t out the title race yet. Game in hand and two games against us could reduce our lead to 3 points

Yes they are. They have imploded and we’ve broken their limp resistance. That is a swing of daft proportions. Let’s enjoy it. Neil and his staff are professional enough to be trusted to keep the consistency going but as supporters I’m enjoying every moment of 2020 so far and will continue to do so.

JJ The headed chance he had – the cross took a wee deflection a couple of yards in front him. He was unlucky with that.

I’d meet you in there but I’ll be at a much better venue….

    Celtic Park!

    :-)))))

I doubt slippy g will have a contract that pays less than full cost on early termination”

Phil`s latest offering, FWIW, indicates that such a termination it would be very expensive !

My apologies to Bayo, then. From where I was, I didn`t see the deflection and he just looked awkward.

There may well be a useful player in there. I certainly haven`t written him off . My earlier response to you was mainly light-hearted in my assessment of Mr.Bayo.

The Herald’s take on the Keatings fiasco…

    ————————————————–

Interesting. When Celtic took up a complaint with the SFA a few weeks back (maybe the Ryan Christie nonsense?) there was an article in The Times by Michael Grant. Effectively stating that Celtic should suck it up – because they signed up to the process and were happy enough with it at the time.

Now that there is a consequence for another club/player apparently the process is flawed after all.

    How queer.

    We will see.

They have Hamilton and Ross County next. That’s easily 6 points.

If we drop points against Livi (as we have on our last 3 visits) then they will have a glimmer of hope left for a home derby game.

I like Bayo and wouldn’t mind seeing him start a game. We are getting to the stage where Eddy should be on the bench for certain games and be called upon if needed.

Both Griff and Eddy have had multiple good chances which they have missed over the past few games, so I’m not too hung up on Bayo missing a chance here or there.

Also, let’s give Shved a chance. Yesterday we started with 3 CBs (one of whom can play RB), two wing backs and had a further two full backs on the bench and a converted CB. Do we really need to have 8 defenders in our squad for Kilie at home? Particularly as Bauer isn’t even our player. I’d give the players we own precedence over those on loan- particularly as we are not going to buy Bauer come summer.

Finally, we had 30 shots on goal yesterday. Supreme performances after a midweek game with 3 of Thursday’s starters out of the squad.

  11. The 9 in a row is getting closer but I am still haunted by Helicopter Sunday, so I won’t celebrate until it’s over the line. I empathise with those urging caution and I agree away to Livi on plastic pitch will be as difficult as it gets. Champagne remains on ice in this house. a win at Livi and I might be tempted to have a small sip.

    ———

They moved to secure an asset by adding 2 years to his contract. It has backfired and he has rapidly become a liability. He’s done, we are in that phase now when it’s a question of when he goes, not if. He might walk and do them a turn.

  13. Brown has been my poty so far this season, but his enforced absence (assuming it’s not too serious) should be good for him

Gives him a rest and hopefully back and raring to go for the big games to come

Also gives the likes of Big Beautiful Tom a chance to start

    B-)

  14. Fellas,

Chill. If you can’t enjoy the race to the title what’s the point?

I believe Livi coming up means we won’t be caught cold again and I’m sure will correct the slip-up from earlier in the season. Total ruthlessness of recent past performances assures me.

Come out from behind the sofa.

Glass more than half full csc

    David17,

I expect he’d only walk for an offer of a different gig, can you see there being a queue to make him offers😁

  16. David17

    `…he has rapidly become a liability. `

Much as I would like it to be true,I wouldn`t go that far!

  17. Bayo could start at Livvy, on that pitch we need to get the ball forward quicker, the sideways passing doesn’t suit there.

  18. Rangers ace Ryan Kent hasn’t had a single league assist in a full calendar YEAR

    From The Hun….ace?

  19. “Chill. If you can’t enjoy the race to the title what’s the point?”

Who said they weren`t enjoying it?

Enjoying football is very different from say, enjoying a nice meal or a pint with friends.

Watching Celtic includes moments of tension, occasonal despair and even anger. Overall, though, when our team is successful — however we measure that — the feelings we have are more than simple enjoyment .We will, though, have to wait a little longer to assess how much we have enjoyed the experience !!

Looks more like a joker than an ace.

Basically a panic buy that they paid WAY over the odds for.

  22. Bear in mind that the press have been describing Cryin’ Jack as a “winner”….

Thanks. I’ve never been in it but know where it is.

  24. The Battered Bunnet on

You look at the football we play around the opposition’s box, highly skillful, fast, short, one touch, round the corner, inventive stuff. Christie, Rogic, McGregor, Eddie, Griff, Frimpong, Forrest, Ntcham, Elyounoussi. It’s breathtaking at times.

Put big Bayo into that mix and it stops when the ball reaches him.

If you want Bayo in the team, you need to change the way we attack. Or he needs to spend a lot of time practising.

  25. I am certain we will win the league, certain. Athough it was tough at the time, when they beat us in December worked two ways. In one way, they thought they’d won the world cup, and we had a severe kick up the arse, not to be repeated

Nothing won yet in League terms.

The very thought of thems achieving anything should focus all minds on steady, deliberate progress. It’s too important.

The meeja will do anything to encourage over celebration in anticipation of a slip-up.

    Serious faces all-round.

Aye, but don’t forget their game in hand. 😂
