    Done deal…beginning of the end for Slippy and yet another “rebuild” on the cards for Rangers this summer…..no need to do anything crazy. Couple of signings to freshen up the squad, sign Forster permanently and I reckon ten will be won more comfortably that nine.

    Not at the game today, Spent day at home recovering from effects of a virus. Thanks to all who kept us up to date with what was happening at Celtic Park and elsewhere.

     

     

    Incidentally, did someone on here not predict the other day that Clancy would give Killie a penalty? Obviously knows him well. That fancy school he went to appears to have forgotten to teach him about honesty and justice.

    Killie just sat in and defended well. Makes a shite of the game but what can you do,

     

    Celtic got the 3 points and that is all that counts on a day the Huns slip up again,

     

    CalMac was the top performer for me, but overall not a game that will live long in the memory.

    The unfortunate truth is, as ridiculous as it sounds, is that in the next 15 years we will be lucky with one or two league titles, but for the foreseeable future we’ll continue to live on the odd Old Firm victory here and there, perhaps making it to the Quarter Finals in the Europa League and winning the League Cup / Scottish Cup here and there.

     

     

    Again, probably expecting pelters but it looks like we’ve reached a permanent ceiling in our downfall with a financial and psychological gulf we can never truly overcome.

    One game at a time is how we are rolling.

     

     

    The ‘bears den’ chat room (it’s a rangers thing not a sub section of the LGBTQ+ community in case anyone was wondering) on Sevco media is very funny today.

     

     

    Slippy is no longer the messiah, Morelos is no longer better than french Eddie and it seems as it has dawned on a small minority of them that they might be in a bit of soapy bubble financially.

    But seriously well done to the managerial team of Gerrard and Mcallister who have proved beyond doubt that their team with an annual budget of 40 million are far better than motherwel and aberdeen.

     

     

    I am not sure that second place in scotland brings such huge financial rewards and I am not sure how they are going to keep such a huge player wages budget.

     

    Dave King stated a couple of years ago that one season without champions league income and celtics finances would crumble like a deck of cards.

     

    That is two seasons without champions league money and to be honest our team/squad and finances look pretty good to me and everyone else.

     

    This is turning out to be the best season of all of the nine.

     

    So happy right now
