   I agree we have had many other failures at CL level even failures to qualify like AEK or Cluj or others.

    

    

   This year with new format suiting us from a seeding perspective and what is undeniably an easier draw and a well supported manager (in terms of funding) there is no doubt we should have a great shout at getting through to the next stage.

    

    

   We now have a game against a weak looking opponent and surely it is reasonable to suggest we should win that. I don’t know what is wrong with any of that.

    

    

   I chose to mention the 3 years we have reached the last 16 as to me these were truly outstanding performances with less well funded teams. It’s an obvious comparison to make and credit to those guys involved.

    

    

   MON never got us to the 16 and nor has Brendan. These are facts. Hopefully Brendan can fix that one.
