    Please Celtic, practise practise practise putting the ball in the net. If we had taken those chances what would the score have been.

    The last 15 mins,bad decisions,cost us another couple of goals.4 on 3 at times.Picked the wrong pass.That should have been at least 6-1 today.Maybe more.Ridiculous.

    Into the next round but not convincing. It’s hard to watch. Difficult to know if it’s just players off form , over coached or just not Celtic class. Either way, we need to add 2-3 players who can perform consistently. I’m worried Rodger won’t allow players to express themselves in midfield. Way way too safe for my liking – esp in Scotland. Rodgers will argue game should have been out of sight had we take 1st half chances. Hard to argue with that other than – maybe we don’t have the quality. Change the personnel as they are consistently missing chances.

    Just watched the highlights of the arse/villa game, the former 2 up and then the villains claw it back, intae the dying minutes and arse take the lead again until var intervenes, the shot hits off oh havertz arm which is at his chest and goes in, nae goal as you cannae score from your arm, aye but you can assist up on sconnie botland if the mitb has another job where he’s linked with the sevco youths, that goal disallowed and we thump the templars in the second half.

    i heard it is full of celtic supporters and the inmates are just celtic daft.

     

     

    having been at a cup tie where celtic made many many chances, and played passages of fast attacking football, i am sure that websites in game analysis will be very positive.

     

     

    today was a really good game, with an opponent who wanted to win, but celtic found the way to beat them.

    Against opponents like Kilmarnock….as was proved today…you can’t score with sometimes afford to be wasteful…against a decent team…we would have been out of a cup competition today…how some fans…whether at the game or watching on tv can’t quite grasp that fact is down to…well you decide…for me..watching on tv…that game could have ended any way….i refuse to be blind sided by missed chances….killie pressed us..at home…with 50,000 fans behind us and we struggled to a 2-1 win…

     

    It’s simple….its not good enough…especially when it happens much much more than a blue moon…

    Good statement from the GB,it does not take much to clap your hands.One caveat to that.Stop singing so many Rebel Songs.Mix up the good ones with Celtic songs.You have plenty.Celtic Park is not for your wee Rebel sing song.So many brilliant songs,some for the players.Widen the songsheet.

    young boys drew 0-0 today, they have played only 3 times since winter break, they are kilmarnock/motherwell level.

    Listened to the Blessed Martin’s take on the game…he says we played well…I think he was cheerleading..

     

    Missed chances apart…the misplaced passes were horrendous…no tactical change from the high press which caused us problems throughout the…no…not a good day…but we won…against the mighty Kilmarnock…

    Nothing wrong with that post.I concur.I remember it happening a few times.We would score a barrowload on the Saturday,and get beat 1-0 on the Wednesday.

     

    One for the older mob.We beat St Mirren 5-1 on the Wednesday,and lost 2-0 to them in the SC semi at Ibrox.I was at both.Hopefully reversed on Wednesday.

    A 2-1 cup victory…..should have had the game wrapped up a lot earlier than it was.This present Celtic side lead the table having scored 64 and with the loss of 11,won the League cup and now face Young Boys on Wednesday in a Champion league tie.The chances that are not taken,like today,I can’t put my finger on the pulse how these gilt edge chances are squandered by the same players that have earned rave reviews.Chances came aplenty today…..but they weren’t converted,maybe,and I hope,on Wednesday that any chances created will end in the back of the net.

    Quick point…on 1 of the few occasions Kasper hoofed the ball…their centre half rose to head…sees Kyogo zero-ing in and heads the ball straight out for a throw in to us midway in killies half….had Kasper played a short pass to whoever…with their high press we’d have immediately been put under pressure yards from our goal….it wouldn’t work every time but variety is the spice of life…NB….we might have lost the ball straight from our throw in…

    *I listened to that game on my trannie in my wee room with my da, I was supposed to be going to it with a couple of pals but it fell through, I was also no long back fae here and saving for a house with another wean by then, so after the game as me and a young mrs tt walked down tae the chippy, knowing how disappointed I was at missing it, she said that if we go through she would pay my fair tae Milan off her baby bonus, or whatever it was called then, and true to form she did.

    Another good game of Scottish football I thought, we played some really slick, quick football at times… Just seem to be misfiring a bit still but you can see the reasons.

     

     

    Picking three is a challenge, some played well but missed the opportunity to put the game to bed, so I’m going for the goal scorers and Nic, who is such a creative force and made our winning goal
