Greg’s wean has been recruited to fill the void left by Yang’s burd’s return to Korea in the improving player performance plan.

  2. Taylor motm

Bernardo is a mystery wonder if he is not 100% if not why have him on the bench.

I’m going to break the habit of a lifetime and resist the temptation to make a cheap joke about either of the das in reply to your question.

Although, I do agree that it would be a good thing if Greg signs a new contract.

  4. empty unoccupied seats again.

    on a summers day,

40,000 left before time up and missed the goal

whats the point of going to the match.

i dont get it, and am less and less understanding of the excuse makers.

great fitba an awe, last weeks they can all go, were back to top performing.

poor tony scores a goal in front of an empty stand.

    You’ll give yourself an ulcer

    ————-

i wont, if it made me ill thinking about it i wouldnt go, or i would leave early.

supporting celtic is a privelage not a chore.

i thought paul67 blog oyther day, that the title was a bit spoiled because they coudnt win it at home, i heard a similar comment from another fan yesterday, that we should engineer results to allow fr a home title winning game, how very entitled i thought.

quick check back, and i will need to sanity check it, but our 55 titles , looks like 40+ were won away from home,

  6. as a wee aside, great interview with Brendan on shortie, pre match,

the interviewere accused brendan of suggesting he wont be in the dugout next year, unless celtic buy players.

after a short pause, he replied, that is not true, you are reading too much into what i said, players leaving and players coming is just normal business for celtic and that is what will happen during the summer, there will be changes, that is normal, and i will be at celtic next season 150%.

should shut up some of the angus ogs, or will they just bang on now about signing an extension or getting rid of him because he cant be spending money if he wont commit longer.

anyways 97 goals with 5 games still to play, what a season.

    trophies still to win.

  7. ‘Perfect performance’ – Rodgers

published at 14:56 British Summer Time

    14:56 BST

    FT: Celtic 5-1 Kilmarnock

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells Sky Sports: “It’s what this group is, a really honest group. The goals were brilliant. Some individual quality and strikes. Overall it was the perfect performance.

On tomorrow’s match between Aberdeen and Rangers, he adds: “Whatever happens happens. It’s about ourselves. We wanted today to be the coronation, but we’ve given ourselves a brilliant opportunity now.

“We’ll see what the split brings and we’ll look to win our next game.”

  8. boo, say the naysayers, possession based football, with lots of crab like passes is boring.

    —————–

    Eh, how many passes?

published at 14:31 British Summer Time

    14:31 BST

    FT: Celtic 5-1 Kilmarnock

Celtic attempted 1,020 passes in this game, their highest total in a single match in the Premiership this season.

That’s what 88% possession gets you.

  9. when checking the title wins, something i had long forgotten,

that famous day in 1916, when celtic were forced to play 2 ,atches in a single day.

having won at celtic park beating raith 6-0, the team went to fir park, made two enforced changes, and won again 3-1 to clinch the championship.

recovery time, sports science, sore limbs, and no subs,

    what an achievement.

  10. At times some great play from Celtic today BUT…..I was disappointed with Adam IDAH.

I expect a lot more from a Celtic striker.

As for JEFFREY SCHULPP, he showed some early promise a few weeks ago, but he had a poor game against St Johnstone last week, and I thought that he looked rather nervy Today.

I am just very sad that Greg Taylor will probably leave Celtic, no matter his reasons for not signing a new contract..GREG will be a massive loss.

97 goals with 5 to play. I raise my glass to the wonderful Glasgow Celtic. Not often I get sunburn at Celtic Park. 🤣🤣

  12. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Well done St Mirren for making top six.

In the interests of balance, to any Hearts fans on here …

    You’re lost.

Back home after the game, I can guarantee that any Hertz neighbours will avoid me 😂🤣😅🙃

  14. How many cycle lanes have the sleekitly disgusting snp/greens built around ibrox?

How many have they built around parkhead which is situated next to a graveyard?

  15. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Great performance today first half.

Greg and Liam are far from being my favourite players but the play from the back through them both looked very smooth.

Reo just needs to remember, (among all the chat about Callum, Arne and Paulo), how important he is to us.

    When he plays we play.

I really like Arne Engels. Anyone doubting his confidence or pedigree, watch the second goal.

With the whole stadium exhorting him to play it, he had the confidence to wait, and wait …. having seen the lane and the pass … before setting up AJ.

Adam did fine. Some very good, some less so. Another who’ll be more effective next season.

What can you say about the officials?

Two second half decisions, one against Adam, the second against Liam, were just ridiculous.

Free plays into the Celtic box. Deliberate.

So far from being fouls it was not true.

Against a backdrop of Killie fouling with impunity.

  16. Great result and very well played Bhoys. What a lift after last week. I’ll be very sorry to lose Greg and wish him well.

It would have been great to win the league at home today but we move on.

We won none of the original nine at home – I was was only at six of them 😀 Easter Road for eight and Brockville for nine ( death trap) stand out for me, of course by ‘74 I could have a fly drink. Never forget wherever you are and wherever the team play, we are all at home.

  17. As for the fans leaving early,Celtic Park isn’t ideal for getting home ,traffic congestion is a problem, what is the solution

  18. Thank you, Celtic. As my neighbour said to me at half-time, “that’s more like it”. Indeed it was.

Would be good if we could keep Greg Taylor. He does add something to the team and he always gives 100%.

  19. garygillespieshamstring on

If we could hang on to Greg Taylor, KT might be the answer to the left sided centre half conundrum.

  20. Better effort today. Trusty will struggle to get back in. Nawrocki should have played.

Beaton never moved his rs from the middle of the park.

    Lazy b******.

    Eyes on the prize.

I predict a draw tmorro as they think they are gonna win the Europa.

Biggest laugh was guy on radio today claiming Arteta is going to bigot FC. 😂😂😂😂😂

  21. Asi D – spot on – i wonder if Trusty is injured or not at 100 per cent but I can see him on the bench for a couple of games.overall I think the jitters are down to not having a crack squad to come on in the second half.

  22. Early leaving today was due to traffic congestion and the game was over at 4-1.

The fact that our team were coasting and you could have slept through 2nd half contributed

  23. garygillespieshamstring on

Would love to be there to see us win the title, but I would be delighted if the gap was still 26 points and we are champions by the end of the hun game tomorrow.

Don!t care how, where or when we clinch the title,.

    Just win it asap.

i enjoyed the 2nd half. celtic were playing. and we made chances, and we scored a late late goal.

the leaving early persons, how many minutes do they actually see ? how many goals have they actually missed?

how does half or more of the crowd leaving early do anything to change the congestion.

  25. My seat wasn’t empty.

Some may say that an empty filed it.

    HH, the journey continues
