  1. What a first half performance, second half was actually boring, GT deserved mom award, LS made a big difference with his forward runs with the ball out of defence in the first half

  2. second half was actually boring,

listen to hearts manager and mcinnes.

sent their teams out to not concede any more goals, by denying the space for celtic to pass forward.

never boring, just tactics we have to get around, we still made chances.

    Angus Og?

Would that be the Macdonald that fought alongside Bruce @ Bannockburn?

Or do you get your history from the Sunday Post?

Thought of you when I saw today’s mass exodus starting on 80mins. A bad look.

Maybe it’s the rarity of games for me but I couldn’t imagine leaving before FT.

Could be that I hail from the NE and just want my money’s worth – copper wire was invented in Aberdeen with locals fighting over a penny, after all.

Speaking of Aberdeen – gives tomorrow’s game a wee bit more interest and I’ll be shocked if our first post split game is at home (statistically, not conspiratorially).

  5. Celtic Mac,

Angus Og and his girlfriend,,Mairileen, his sidekick,Lachie Mor,were in the. Record.

Brendan can give guys a roasting….tremendous football, when we see Scales, Taylor, Forrest back in,we probably think negative? All outstanding

Forgot that the Record and the Sunday Mail used to have its own cartoon characters….

    Good Shout

  8. As if today wasn’t already good fun, check it Once a Tim and others on Facebook for some AI renditions of, among others, Big Hoose Guy, Disappointed Tav, Morelos, Hun Bike. I’m in tears here.

    I don’t think I’ve seen a better hour of golf …

I got pelters on here for mentioning golf….

  10. Think you said “What’s that got to do with Celtic”…yup…that’s what you said…

  11. 31003

Think you’re wrong- Bada cited the fact that he and I talk cricket from time to time.

The fact that our team were coasting and you could have slept through 2nd half contributed

    —————————————————————

Agree with first 2 summations. Can’t agree with the 3rd.

First half was excellent. Two fantastic strikes from outside the box. Two fantastic team moves led to 2 further goals. Magic!

2nd half was a bore fest. I wouldn’t normally make excuses for those that leave early, but I make an exception today. Team was 4-1 up; Killie closed shop; we lacked any intensity to get into their final third; went through the motions 2nd half. Introduction from the bench of last week’s under-performers didn’t help today.

What chances did we make in 2nd half, SS? Ralston’s goal was our only shot on target.

I was thoroughly impressed with today’s 1st half showing – and bored rigid in 2nd half. We actually played better in the last 30 mins v St Johnstone than we did in 2nd half today (imo). St least the St Johnstone keeper was forced to make some saves. Killie keeper could have smoked a cigar throughout the 2nd half.

Overall, delighted with today’s result and excellent first half.

    The title party is imminent.

you must have watched a different game second half, also agree second half subs made us worse, ended up with no striker on the park , imo idah is a hadi

  14. I sometimes get my eyes mixed up with my ears….maybe the 3 or 4 who protested at the time will come on and berate you…those clique guys..

Engels hit the bar second half

    ……

So did some of the support ..😂😂

  16. glendalystonsils on

The more I see of Idah the less I’m convinced that he’ll make it with us . Unless BR can improve the big guy’s hold up play and positional awareness . £9m is not excessive if the development potential is there but I’m not seeing it . Love to be proved wrong .

One of the most memorable gags in Angus Og was at the time Oh Calcutta was in the news and Angus and Lachie were commenting on a theatre production called Oh Benbecula.

  18. i was watching that titanic film there,

but once it hit the iceburg, well …………….. nothing else happended.

  19. call me Gerry on 12th April 2025 9:44 pm

    trying again.

mcinnes said he told his team to defend every gap and stop celtic having any space, and he was happy, that, the first half worldies didnt happen again.

that doesnt make celtic boring, for me.

  20. 2nd half was a bore fest.

    ————–

    go to the theatre.

ours is a sporting contest, the opponent can make it as boring as they can.

  21. my reference to angus og.

the sunday mail cartoon, of the utter hebrides, angus the young.

sarcastic, could i say nationalist, ironic,

    very alike to para handy,

    ochone ochone.

i wonder hat he would think about people paying for a seat and not turning up for the ferry.

or indeed, insisting they have to get off before it reaches the pier

  22. that sportscene moment when a former hearts manager gets to tell the current manager that it wasnt his fault it must be you

  23. De Chambeau back in it with that forty five foot putt, and birdie, on the 18th.

    Rory -12, Bryson -10

Connors not out of it either at -8

    Great golf!
