Fair enough, I’ll question their right to call themselves Celtic supporters.

  2. the long wait is over on

    My tuppence worth

Much as I really Charlie Mulgrew hes not a midfielder

Also , may be coincidence but I cant recall us ever playing with so many predominantly left footed players Charlie, Izzy , Commons , Joe Ledley.

  3. I really don’t think the five changes were the cause of the defeat today, we just weren’t at the races, simple really, we don’t have a right to win every game, we have competition.

Today they were more motivated and put more into the game, therefore got more out.

Over the season I think it will be enough to win the league, but we will have off days, every team does.

Picking over the bones of a defeat is a useful excessive though, as is venting your spleen when the team leave you peeved, but on the blog or in the pub, not, for me, by booing at the game.

    the booing was ridiculous.

We were within seconds of drawing with one of the all time great teams in their own backyard in the Champions League and days later the players are to be booed for losing a match?

    Unbelievable.

Just back in. I thought it stange that Effe was played in front of the back two. I thought we were slow to shuffle things about and that Tony should have started. I think the boss will have learned something today. But what do I know. I do know I was in Barcelona last week and I’d never have believed that would have happened six months ago!I I also know that I will be back in my usual seat on Tuesday supporting the greatest football club in the world. Bar none.HH. (seen it all csc).

  6. As a supporter of Celtic I do not think it appropriate to boo our team under any circumstances,

I lived in Bristol in the late 70s when City were in the First Division and attended a few games.

Was shocked by the way the fans turned on their team when losing to teams like Liverpool or Man Utd.

I had never heard it at Parkhead and it never should be heard.

We are Celtic supporters faithful through and through.

  7. Must say a couple of comments from guys complaining about £60 gone down the Swanee for watching pish made me smile. Spare a thought for lads from Southern Ireland, 2 days and circa £200 down the Swanee, often sat in CP wondering should I get myself certified for lunacy then I remembered why I was there. More then a team, born from Famine & Oppression its a privilige to have such a team to follow. Win, Lose or Draw.

  8. In my opinion we always need a Broonie, almost everybody else is an employee and won’t pull it out they just lift their wages, he is the guy that makes sure everybody else works, just like Big Roy, when we play like that we have no leader, Broonie makes sure the boys put a shift in.

  9. Just as an aside, I work in Romania and was very kindly invited by my colleagues to attend RomanianV Holland in the new national stadium (which hosted the Uefa cup final) the game was great, Romania got gubbed due to some smashing football by Holland and some really awful refereeing, god was I embarrassed when I was told it was Craig Thomson, so guys its not just us!!
