Build up far too slow. Killie defending well, Miku is either isolated or not up to the pace.
Maybe we should put Tony Watt on with him.

Passing has been unbelievably sloppy, even before the goal.
Half time 1 down. We have created very little, definite signs of a European hangover. Matthews has given the ball away a few times, terrible pass put Ambrose in trouble & led to goal, Efe didn’t cover himself in glory either. Game crying out for Tony Watt, seems like we are waiting for something to happen rather then making things happen.

We should cut the Bhoys a bit of slack after their midweek exertions but to be honest that was dreadful. Team selection all wrong, too many players out of position, Commons weighted down with the captains armband, single striker up front at home. Could go on but that is 45 mins we are not going to get back.
Lenny may be trying to teach Wanyama a lesson but it backfired on him from the off. Kayal running round like a headless chicken, Effe looking lost, Forrest done absolutely nothing, Commons on the wrong side of the park, Miku getting no service and when he does get it he gives it away. Positives? Izzy and Wilson but really grasping at straws.
Need to write this off and start this game again with a different formation. Put Watt on up front, Forrest off, Commons wide left. Hoops on for Miku after 10 mins and we will score 2 goals.
I’m trying to watch in work, glanced at it a few times and it seems like every time there’s a through ball on but he pass is 6 or 7 yards wide of it’s target. Really sloppy and lazy passing and that’s just from a minute here and there.
The attendance doesn’t look to have improved at all following the Barca performance…

Our forward play so far is too slow and the midfield is very sloppy.
