I’m easy mate – I’ve spent all night posting light and frivolous comments. Let’s wait and see what answers Anne Budge gets from the list of questions she’s no doubt compiled for Sevco and Police Scotland. As soon as I see the answers to her questions, I will start giving her the benefit of the doubt. In the meantime, I suspect she’s playing to the gallery of mini-huns that she knows comprises the Hearts fanbase.

A typical single parent with three kids gets approx £14k per year cash in Income support, Tax Credits and Child benefit PLUS Housing benefit for total rent and Council Tax paid in full.
This equates to around £20k per year – how many working people on low paid jobs take home £20k per year.

You have a point and it deserves to be heard and argued with not simply dismissed as being a troll to be ignored
Thankfully western society is a fairly civilised place where even the poorest have a voice and the state to a certain extent provides basic needs ( food shelter) for those who can’t supply that for themselves or their families. However in recent years with the economic crash many people on the lower socio economic rungs of societies ladder have found life tougher and tougher, food banks and other charitable initiatives are the responses of decent people who want to alleviate the suffering ( real or perceived) of their fellow citizens, yes there are many who depend on social welfare who take comfort in drink and drugs, but would anyone swap places with them. I know I wouldn’t. Many many are decent people caught in a poverty trap. Any initiative that helps give them hope and dignity is very worthwhile and deserves to be praised. .not buried

A person on minimum wage gets £12,500 per year and pays tax and NIC for a 35 hour working week.
The one parent family that I illustrated gets £20k TAX FREE.
How much benefit would you give them – £30k TAX FREE?
What about the millions of low paid workers without whom our society could not function?
Foodbanks are mostly for the feckless and irresponsible.
Do you know that an alcoholic gets at least £20 extra per week disability allowance, over a normal person who is out of work – I’ll give you three guesses what the extra £20 is spent on – and it’s not food.
