Why is it when we get the ball in a forward position we are looking to pass the ball back the way? It’s no wonder we don’t score enough goals for the possession we have.

    We need to move

Move James Forrest over to the right and see if anything comes of it

I watched him on Sunday and ended up asking myself how in gods name did he become a professional football player

Can’t blame the pitch for Celtic’s lack of creativity against, a direly defensive Kilmarnock side.

James Forrest remains ineffectual when played on the left, and Commons is still suffering from a loss of first touch.

The Killie boys aren’t afraid to put the boot in, and will put more Celtic fans in their living rooms than most sides, with not a notion to cross the half way line.

Expect to see everything RD can add from the bench, when the closest we can come is from a VVD sclaffed header.

    Killie defending well

We are a wee bit short on ideas

    Half time

Very frustrating and keeper hasn’t had a save to make

  7. HT 0-0

Not the best 45 minutes from Celtic so far.

Playing like we are practicing for Sunday’s game instead of the three points.

  8. Kilmarnock bus well-parked. I think we need to given them the ball and let them come at us. Catch them on the break.

Need to up our game in 2nd half. We can’t let anti-football win. Could get a wee bit uncomfortable if we drop anything tonight. We certainly don’t have the excuses re pitch etc. we had at Inverness on Sunday.

  10. Land of the Giants at the back for Killie. Guidetti offers nothing – either in movement, pace, or physical combat.

Play Scepovic for penalty box awareness, physical match-up.

  11. Kilmarnock one of the worst teams you are likely to see. Not a shot at goal, corner or any sort of passing move to be seen. Embarrassing.

  12. Tricoloured Ribbon on

Why, oh why are we playing with four defenders and two sitting in front of them against a dross team with 11 men behind the ball?

As I nearly said 1-0 was about the same odds as 4-0 pre match , didn’t see there being a barrowload in this but hope I’m wrong .. Or even better for me Denayer scores the only goal @ 155/1!

  16. Professor Green on

Not clicking in the last third. Samson in the killie goal has had nothing to do.

Best chance was glancing header from VVD. They need to pull the trigger when they get a sniff at goal. Get another striker on. No need for 4 defenders against a team who are content to defend.

HT. not a great advert for the either side.

Killie only interested in keeping the score down

    Celtic lacking zip and creativity.

We’re not as creative on the left without Stokes.

Do we have anyone who can put the ball in the net from distance? Biton?
