  2. Hello again, forgot to say that I followed some of the CQN tipsters today…..

I was at a loose end as CP was not my destination today and as I know nothing about horses, other than which end shites and which end eats, I followed 4 of the tips today, feck all , wasted a tenner. I should also say that Paul Lamberts Blackburn and our own dear team saw my other tenner down the same road.

I I’d win £25 on the lottery on Wednesday which is why I was feeling lucky….lesson duly learned.

  3. Gordon64

and McGennis should have been off, if broonie tackled him the same way,i have no doubt sleekit madhun would have red carded him.

  4. Dis-appointed today, good ball retention with little thought how to convert to goals.

I have many times criticised James Forrest, but Ross county and today no complaints,in fact RD actually done a better job of stopping him as a threat than Locke did, what a stupid switch, why not Allan sooner, why Rogic after a long trip knowing it was going to be physical.

Referee shocking, but safe in the knowledge if a Treble can be sabotaged blatantly, and draw no criticism from our Board, then a few points is nothing.

I really do not see improvement, despite looking very hard.

    —————————————————————————————–

One positive note was the minutes silence being observed properly as of course should be the norm.

  5. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

    Ronny keeps talking about progress…..

Putting aside the 18 months or so, have we progressed ?

For my part not at all, the opposite in fact.

Surprising too, how many were streaming out with 5 and 10 minutes to go.

  6. Rather inebriated, superb footy from Barca, a joy to see grown men crying and not a bit of bother.

I thot we actually played some very good stuff today, the finishing wasn’t the may west, on another day etc, still, those who only want to see the negatives will only see the negatives.

It’s never easy playing against a team who are hell bent on defending, just ask the Barca team about that when we beat them.

  7. Apropos of nothing in particular – Ajax drubbing the Eredivisie equivalent of Kilmarnock 4-1 after 55 minutes.

Classy of the Madrid fans applauding Iniesta as he left the pitch today. Or were they merely relieved? What a player he is!

Back to reality. Someone mentioned earlier (apologies that I can’t remember who it was) that his kid commented today that this “Is exactly like the Hearts game.” Got to agree. So why don’t we learn?

Incomprehensible today that Ronny pulled Forrest out of his comfort zone and waited so long to put Scott Allen on. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Today was an absolute bore fest. No shooting, no skill, no excitement – these insipid performances are driving fans out of their seats, and guaranteeing that kids will not get the bug and continue supporting the Club as adults.

  8. Jedward on the flight back to Dublin. A few wags shouting abuse and laughing at their own jokes. I need more beer!

  9. Evening all, Madden, Hun with a whistle, nothing more to say.(but I will)

We played 12 men defending a goal, they succeeded.

We started okay, James Forrest was our best attacking threat today, well played James.

Scott Allan looked lively when he, finally, got on. Nir seemed to take a while to release the ball today, a blip.

Not our best day, but well done to Craig Gordon and Jozo Simunovic, also had good games.

Flippin’freezin’ too btw. Now thawed out and chilling:-)

1% may represent the views of exactly that.

Then again, it is not impossible for 1% to mirror the views of many more.

I simply don’t know. However I am allowed to speculate.

    ————-

To me it was nothing like the Hearts game, in that one we created enough to score 6 or 7 today we didn’t really create anything apart from at the end hitting the bar.

These games happen, it’s not the end of the world

  12. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

    Goodnight Timland.

Our club is maybe about to have a watershed

moment depending on a appeal,if no appeal

happens then Celtic must go to war, if they

don’t the game in Scotland is finished, the

hun will drag every club to the grave with them.

  13. Adi-Dasler, agreed, his work rate has also markedly improved, it wasn’t poor before, but he did, on occasion, leave his full back exposed, not today, a couple of times he was the last defender on the right, and stopped the attacks.

Bhoy 66 why didn’t they pass them onto the police.

On a separate note why did the GB go silent today? Was it a protest?

  16. Definition of INVEIGH

: to protest or complain bitterly

what other way would they protest ?

    Griffs free kick,

Same guy missed one on one first half.

Griff in first half a decent chance just after.

Second half, hit the bar late on,

    The tree pulled one wide.

GMS forgot to shot after skinning guy at back post.

    Thats 6 chances.

Seems Wee Shades was right, just like the Edinburgh Huns game.

I watched the match today in a pub whilst my dad and mini( real fans) went to st Michaels then Celtic park

Mini asked why and I told her in all honesty that watching Celtic is a chore and that I gave no longer any enjoyment going to the games

I love my time with Celtic supporters and have great craic but the shite I gave to watch bores me to tears

  19. BT

That will bring the wee one on……She will make her own mind up,thankfully.

Celtic will not always be at their best, but the support should be.hh my friend

I wish I had my dads and guys like yours undying love of Celtic but I went like you did when we where cheated out of every match

I can’t allow myself to allow our board to sit back and take it on the chin

I was at Crltic park in the pouring rain when the Rebels supposedly won

Just to post some facts, the draw today was the first in the league since the Hearts game in September.

The previous draw was against Killie in August.

    3 draws and counting

Re your comments about a chore.

I have a big ginger mate from the lovely town of Dunoon.

He once said to me he wished his old man hadn’t brought him up to be a Celtic supporter, because it sometimes is more of a chore than a blessing, it is something I have thought about long and hard about for the last 20 odd yrs , but try as I might I still think he was mistaken.

I still see him at Celtic park to this day and it’s over 20 yrs since he said that to me.

Perhaps maybe it seems like a Penance, but in all Honesty, it for me it is a labour of amour.

P.s Well done the half time announcer in giving the GB a mention.

And also well done to the GB bhoys, a credit to the Celtic ethos again.

I’ll get my dads because he gets nothing from Celtic

I’m proud of him because unlike the freeloaders on our Plc he pays his way to attend away games

    BTW

Us loyal Cqn people are not up to speed because p67 is tweeting about Celtic whilst we talk shite on an old blog when the ads take over

Maybe it’s too easy for me to go but that’s how I feel

  28. Much praise is due to the GB today. A great effort from them both outside and inside the stadium where their backing was really the only noise made by our support. I didn’t think we played badly today, some good football on both wings and a fairly solid defensive display. Griff had an off day against a packed Killie back 9 and Madden showed his colours throughout with a shocking performance. One of the SFAs finest and no doubt will be selected for one of our cup games where he will do his duty in the same way brother Muir has.
