And by the English champions at that – a team dripping with so much gold that money doesn’t mean anything to them anymore and they get paid in dragon’s teeth.
And there’s some on here castigating our players, in particular, for missing a penalty.

Bit of an EFE love in starting up on here….
Dont worry that will soon change after his next howler
I am sure he is a lovely fella off the pitch but unfortunately thats not really important…only what he does on the pitch
Anyway whats really important is that a team should only have one scapegoat.
Team scapegoat is a great honour, what greater love can there be but for a player to lay down his reputation for his team mates.
Personally I like to pick a scapegoat and ensure that he retains the position for the season ( at least, and maybe for his entire spell at the club) in the same manner that a captain is selected (and holds that position even when he doesnt play he remains team captain)
Only in truly exceptional situations should a scapegoat be changed mid season
Some teams try scapegoat rotation or even worse again zonal scapegoating but I believe in good old fashioned scapegoating .The type where a player even takes his scapegoat status with him to a new club.
So please make up your minds and agree on team scapegoat….EFE or Forrest….. or maybe even Dembele …hmmmmm

We are talking about the same James Forrest who when he lost the ball used to sit on the grass and throw his arms in the air.He plays one good game in a blue moon which is not good enough he is not improving at Celtic in my opinion it would be better for him if he found a new club.H.H.

I would rather Brendan decides if James is worth an offer or not ?
A lot of the stick/abuse he is receiving is definitely not on his performances since Brendan has been appointed

Again I have to agree 19 a huge age. So many distractions and some players can become disillusioned.
My boy was on a no bad contract with Gretna who obviously went bust, ended up at Airdrie 90 quid a week plus 50 win bonus. First three games of the season he was a sub. At the ripe old age of 18 he told Jimmy Boyle he was quitting, as he didn’t want to sit on the bench. He then went to USA and done coaching for a bit. So fingers crossed for your godson.
Thanks for asking about my health. Went back to work on Thursday after 9 and a half weeks. I was delighted to return, that’s something I never thought I would say. No attacks for 4 weeks now. All I can do is hope that continues. I don’t mind admitting it’s scary shit at times.

Great but very saddening post if I may say.
Mr Stein always said, when asked, that the best thing about his job was not the silverware; it was bringing through talented youngsters, seeing them realise then maximise their skills by working on them, and going on to have careers ranging from steady to stellar.
Maybe Brendan is the man to re-ignite James Forrest. I hope so. Such a talent as Forrest you don’t throw away till you’ve tried everything. IMO.
