We have been missing CL defensive experience for a good number of seasons, I think Toure is a great signing and one that the manager has worked with

The only thing I know about Jerry Sadowicz is none of the cleaners in the Kings theatre wanted to clean his dressing room, pretty disgusting creature, and not just a one-off every single time, year after year, but he made the place money so the bosses didn’t care

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen him, I normally try and get to see him every year around Christmas when he does a run in Leicester Square

I’ve stopped taking people along, its just me and the same friend now, I took along a friend’s husband a few years ago and at the end he walked off without talking to me and hasn’t really talked to me since!

He’s a brilliant card trickster, he did a show a few years ago in a big hall where he had a big screen behind him that showed his hands in close up as he was doing the tricks so the people further back could see what was going on, it was still impossible to make out how he did his tricks

The IOC didny ban the Russians so Mr Pastry is devastated, dearie me.

The States is full of doped up athletes as is the rest of the world yet the big bad Russians are the bad ones.

HOW LONG DO U THINK ITLL TAKE HIM TO GET MATCH FIT?? AND I MEAN MATCH FIT!!

  6. I’ve only met him twice and both times he was nice enough, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he wasn’t the kindest most thoughtful person out there.

Jee-zoh. You need to get a life.

IOC decide not to hammer Russia for long-term institutional failure.

Fine,I’m happy that you see the wrong in this.

Celtic decide not to hammer the SFA et al for long-term institutional failure, but you defend it.

Gaun yersel, bud. Once you’ve undone that knot,be sure to avail us of your latest opinions.

There were plenty of passes out of defense under Delia but unfortunately the recipients particularly Bitton returned it straight back.

Young O’Connell and McCart were both noticeable for wanting to play out from the back in preseason games .Young McCart was very impressive at this.

Also watched the last two youth games and Kelleher is the same.

Movement off the ball helps in this regard and allows for forward passes.

Problem in modern games is to many players particularly midfielders seem obsessed with possession stats so only make easy passes which is usually side or back.

Once opponents press then usually its back to goalie for long punt.

Hopefully by the time we are playing Ludagorets in the final qualifier :-)

over the season having a pro like him will benefit the players and young players already there, don’t think he is going to be involved in the Astana games so maybe Brendan is getting him in so he will be super match fit for the CL group stages where we will definitely need the experience

Still going strong at 88. Must really try to see him in Blackpool this October.

  14. Bert Allan from Fife. I quite like him as an after dinner speaker but he’s one of those stand up guys you want to avoid being at the front. If you move he is on to you. I was bursting for the toilet. Now I am tall, thin and grey headed. When I tried to sneak out to the toilet he caught me and called me a walking Q Tip !!!

Looking for a bit of advice/help.

Been struggling to watch any of this seasons action so far and as if that’s bad enough, im wasting hours in trying to do so.

I had been using a firestick with kodi installed towards the 2nd half of last season and it generally found a stream, however this season its been useless.

It still seems fine if trying to watch a movie or tv programme so im not sure what’s wrong.

As far as i know, kodi is up to date as its running with Jarvis 16.

Ive wondered if Virgin(my ISP)could be blocking content in some way and perhaps i need to set up a VPN to allow me to access content?

At a loss what to try and stuff like that is new territory for me, but id be willing to give it a go for The Hoops!

Anybody else had/having similar problems, or can anyone advice me on what i could try?

Good effort yesterday. Lots of energy on the park and off it.

That said I am disappointed that our club did not take a more pro active stance on promoting the game with media and especially to the support.

For me it is to the credit of our club that they get us ‘at the table’ for one of the few events giving us a global exposure and incremental tv revenue.

To stay at this table the. I am sure generating great atmosphere for the matches will be of value ( eg China and Australia ). Sadly a half empty stadium is never a good sight for an organizing group keen to expand and promote their competition.

Celtics attitude was that the organizers were in charge and wanted a clean stadium and control of the event. Celtic had nothing to lose as stadium was booked regardless.

By simply feeding some positive energy around the game via press interviews and online push they could have converted plenty to attend the Battle of Britain etc and generated a far greater atmosphere and better impression of our collective passion for the game. Thereby helping ensure further involvement and selling our brand more positively.

Sadly the lack of short term incremental return or benefit has fueled a couldn’t care less attitude within our commercial team.

A good job BRTH is on holiday.

Celtic’s inability to think outside the commercial box is a reflection of their reluctance to open the box to wider thinking.

Is it not the SFA who supply refs?

They are lining up their placemen to try to restore their interpretation of the natural order.

The season of honest mistakes will pale in comparison to this one.

They are hanging on by a thread and need additional income so qualifying for Europe is essential.

Same here dude. The whole Kodi experience has been a pain in the ass. I can’t be bothered with it. I have no suggestions for you – sorry!

  20. Thunder Road on 24th July 2016 4:30 pm

    ——————–

It won’t be your ISP that is causing the the problems.

Do you have a particular Kodi build on your Firestick?

I’ve sort of had the same issues previously so just reinstalled a different Kodi build which seemed to update all the live sport links.

Do you think Celtic should have paid money to advertise a game (or tournament) they have already received their fee for….pay to advertise to make money for somebody else, am pretty sure every Celtic fan knew this game was on, not sure paying more money to advertise to not earn any more money would be a wise decision
