So to paraphrase Paul’s analysis on the last article, because we had a great manager in BR who was brought in to replace someone that was underperforming, we should somehow be expected to suffer on with the current manager who is underperforming.
We should somehow just accept mediocrity in this the most important season in decades to truly make history.
Not buying that I’m afraid.
All this nonsense about the players being 100% behind Lenny is Goebbels-standard propaganda. If they were anywhere close to that then we might be seeing the occasional dip in performance, not this dreary extended yet depressingly consistent line of turgid shambolic pitiful capitulations.
If the Board have already all but given up on 10IAR then I’d say they have little to lose by getting someone in that is at the very least tactically superior to Lenny.
Shouldn’t be too hard to find…..just take a shuftie at the lengthy list of foreign coaches that have completely outfoxed him over the last couple of years.

I am genuinely pleased to see Soro and Turnbull start but like Welsh against AC Milan, starting unfancied squad players against a very good side is not how we should integrate them into the team. They play against RC and Hamilton and other bottom 6 teams.
Of course, they need to know the system (I know, I know) and that’s what could be dispiriting tonight – how to line up, how to press, where to play, partnerships, etc could open up a cricket score against us.
A post-match analysis that starts with saying that player x and y isn;t ready yet is possibly not their fault.
