    Our top 3 this week are:-

     

     

    1= Greenpinata- 10.5 pts

     

    1= Billy Bhoy- 10.5

     

    3- Ayrshire Tim- 9

     

     

    Our bottom 3- all on 1 point were- Friesdorfer, Scaniel and Wee BGFC

     

     

    This leaves the overall picture as:-

     

     

    1. Our new leader- Billy Bhoy- 114.5 pts

     

    2. BC Milan- 113.5

     

    3. Leggy – 110

     

     

    Our wooden spoon contenders are-

     

    1. Friesdorfer- 56.5 pts

     

    2. Wee McCaff- 60

     

    3. Cosy Corner Bhoy 62

     

     

    We have 2 sets of fixtures to go before our first prizes are given out after the final fixtures on 30th December (12.30 deadline). Our next deadline is in 2 days time for our 3 pm kick off v Dundee with 5 evening fixtures to follow on the 27th.

     

     

    I am still awaiting a couple of charity nominations for consideration of receiving our £361 raised. I hope to announce this at the final 2023 fixtures too.

    Heading into Christmas morning Celtic are top of the league. Now I do not know offhand how many times we have lost the league from this position on this day, offhand 1974-75 and 2008-9 maybe, Tontine Tim will know better than me. Chance to extend what lead we have on Tuesday up in ol’ Dundee. The last time we played Dundee on St Stephens Day/Boxing Day if I remember rightly, was not a 3pm kick off as it will be on Tuesday, but rather an evening ko, maybe on Setanta cannot remember the year, fair to say the Celtic support was rocking, drink had been taken and we were not in a Calvinist state of mind. We were in a Glasgow state of mind, which is something like a New York state of mind….. without the handguns.

    Its now 22 days of this Chest Infection/Flu etc…..I am now wondering IF I have COVID ?

     

     

    The last time I was out for some Beers was the 1st December with the CQN Shipbank Crew. I felt unwell Two days later.

     

    I would love to join DAVID66 and others on Boxing Day in his local Pub to watch Celtic v Dundee, but ” Health wise”, Im gonna need a Christmas health miracle in the next 24 hours ?
