Dominant win. Played close to as well as this group is capable of playing. It’s all you can ask, but there’s no doubt their ceiling is far lower than last season. Which is what you get when club policy is to replace proven quality with inexperienced projects and celebrate the financial return as the true measure of success.
Livi showed why they have now taken 1 point from 10 games and are certs for the drop. Zero everything – goals, shots, corners.
We won’t then get carried away, but special mention to Taylor, Scales and CCV, who were all excellent today. Palma’s stats are mounting up, so no question he is an asset. Needs to iron out the hot and cold performances, but a proper talent.
I also thought Bernardo showed he had the technique and football nous to keep up with CalMac and MO’R. I expect he’ll start against the huns as he’s been preferred against better opposition.
That’s the easy run of fixtures out the road. Dundee and St Mirren away will be a challenge as will the 12 men of the huns. Hope the team surprises me and win those 3. Still a stuttering outfit with many limitations.

If we can get a consistent tune out of Yang I’m convinced he has a contribution to make to the squad.
5 or 6 nil would have been a fair score. However, we need to be more clinical.
Corners are only turned when you can look back and see the straight line that followed. One win at a time. Dundee away is all that matters now.

Horse bets Today….
As posted earlier Today, my favourite ” Jump” Trainer had THREE Winners from his first Three runners Today.
The EARLY Prices were, 7/, 6/1 and 9/4.
He had ONE Horse in Ascots 2.25 Race…but it finished 4th.
Even so, I was waiting on ONE of his Horses to win the Ascots 3.35 Race. He had THREE Runners in that Race.
He had the WINNER at odds of 11/2, but sadly my selection finished a fast finishing 2nd at odds of 11/1…so I was slightly unlucky……My Horse was beaten only a ” Neck”.
However, I DID back the FORECAST in the Race which paid just over £24 to a £1 stake.
I also managed to back another FORECAST in the 3.00 Race.
I also got the Ascot ” QUADPOT” up.
Soo, it was a Profitable day…although it coulda been so much more ?

NO MATTER….The HOOPS WON….that was the main thing.
