  1. Sunny Sunday morning awakening to the early Chrissy present of the win!

Read back suggests we were pretty urgent and good again, which goes at odds w/ some of the post-match YouTubers ?

Lots of chances at goal and noticeably more headed attempts than I can recall for a while. Liam’s was wonderful and Cam and Oh unlucky with their brave efforts.

Brendan’s post-game comments were quite emotional about enjoying the minute with our loved ones and living in the present; I like the ghuy and still think we’re lucky to have him despite the naysayers.

He also seems over that flu lurgy that depleted his energy a week or so back.

To all the guys on here. Bsr, Chairbhoy sorry didn’t respond. You are Celtic. Let the good times roll. 👍

  3. Redemption is a wonderful thing says the guy who ruined CQN with his failed attempt to remove everybody with an alternative view to his lol

CQN is that bad that SFTB browser has ripped its tights to get away from it….or is it because he`s been found out on every issue and has nowhere left to shill for the board (SFTB :)

Excuses…excuses…like when Sentinel Celts says “There will be no CQN types of filters on this blog…” only to then install CQN filters lol.

Is there any part of Timdom which isn`t two2 faced apart from the incredible VideoCelts.com run by the simply outstanding Super Joe McHugh and his team?

Integrity is now a long gone distant stranger to Timland.

Celtic were born out of politics a club formed by real refugees not to be confused with today`s “fakeugee-invasion” hundreds of thousands of young men of fighting age…no women or children…even the dugs on the streets know that they are fakers.

Just ask the Irish school teacher and her young pupils from a few weeks back… Irish MSM doing BBC / The Guardian sorts of gymnastics to try and say that the Algerian attacker was thwarted by a Brazilian Pizza delivery guy…are they so biased and bought that they can`t report that it was actually a `white Irish nationalist` who was the hero?

Anti White hatred from the media?

If not then what is it?

If Irish media don`t like Ireland or its Irish folks then who are they “really” working for?

When standing up to a “fakeugee” guy waving a knife like the knives in a Sinbad movie, and then being called a “Right Wing Racist” by the Irish media ditto, UK, USA, EU, etc, media…and the dullard majority of the public believe the media…then something is gonna have to give.

The SNP`s dulling down of the curriculum has populated society with lots of dullards…deliberately when you take into account who Krankie really works for….Mr Vaxx.

And certain Celtic supporters want the gates left open…no documentation required (just like the Black and Tans straight oot the jail) just not in the dullards backyard…then they act all surprised when it goes Pete Tong lol

These types of Tims have drowned the club in duplicity.

Clunk get the Mod back on he`s far more adept at looking for arguments…then playing the poor wee victim when he gets handed his arse on a delicious silver platter.

Any so called, Mod, who knifed Ernie Lynch and Canamalar in the back and then acts all mystified as to what actually happened is a dangerous POS in any neck of the woods.

    …”Oh the trolls…boo boo boo..”

Rather be a troll than a sucker.

Good on….Brendan….survives another week…will Tony Doc be the man who plunges Timdom into chaos…a chaos that cleanses the club of unneeded fat cats who have to keep Rangers chins up no matter what suspicious Tims think.?

Or do we have to wait for a George Galloway Government to introduce education for the first time since the Rocketfellas introduced human animal farm curriculums?

    Tick, tock.

Taylor for effort, played well and run for our team all day long up and down the left *and to get it up RC!

ha ha your probably not the only one on here who thinks the same, agree he gives his all for the team but sometimes that’s not enough , probably his biggest issue ironically is his lack of height.

  5. Merry Christmas everyone

Wd post more often but for the pop up ads

    Solid perfomance today

Trust in the boss v Sevco, great record v them

  6. Only saw last 20 mins but delighted with a good result against a packed defence. Glad the Green Brigade are back.

  7. Insomnia strikes again……….

Happy with result and application today but at HT was terrified it was going to be one of those days. A good number of missed clear chances and loads of half chances and openings not converted – we seemed timid in front of goal – laces through it sometimes lads. As someone said already the difference a goal makes is massive in these games and could have easily had 5 or 6.

That should help confidence although Livi are pretty dreadful but if we can do the same again on Tuesday I’ll feel a lot better about Saturday.

  8. Good Christmas eve morning to all from another blustery and wet Garngad but 11 degrees already. At this rate it will be 19-20 degrees on Christmas day.

Anyway a good Tempo yesterday from the off, (thanks to the GB and Bhoys)still think we can get more out of some of these places years w ith competition/quality coming in hopefully in January window.

Let’s beat Dundee literally 1 game at a time and win the next 3 get to January.

In my opinion our League campaign comes down to 2 things now.

    1. Win next 3 games

    2. Buy quality 1st team ready players

If we do not then it’s Sianara (spelling) to League.

    We need both these things.

The board shot themselfs in the foot by banning the GB.

SACK THE BOARD OR A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AT AGM

    GET LAWWELL’S OUT 31ST JANUARY.

PS anyone wanting a pint a nd watch the. Dundee away game. W e w ill be. In Howgait in

  9. Feckin tablet playing up.

We will be in the howgait formerly the Lee.

    All welcome, well nearly all

  10. Good Morning Celtica – Festive Day To Be A Tim

Really enjoyed the match yesterday, thought it was a well structured, hard working and positive performance.

Didn’t really share other fholks trepidation, yes, better teamwork, better in the final third, better pressing…

Yet that’s WIP stuff, it will come.

Yet thought we were unlucky not to score a few the first half and had Livingstone working like trojans to keep the score respectable, which they did.

Tough three choices again, a lot of good solid performances, yet how many stood out?

Guess we look for the “impact” then, Palma’s two assists, Scales general contribution and great finish, then it could be several.

It was great to see Kyogo score, yet did his overall contribution warrant a top three? Greg Taylor’s application was terrific, yet was he an outstanding fullback? Then the midfield, good game all, O’Riley is an outstanding prospect not one of his best games though – so Calmac gets the nod – he stepped up as Captain and we really need that.

So winging it’s way to SENCELPOTY@GMAIL.COM

    1. Palma

    2. Scales

    Agreed…

    Huge games next week

And if we don’t have a very good window, it will be shades of summer 2018, winter 2019 recruitment.

    We know what happened then.

  12. SIN CITY BHOY on 23RD DECEMBER 2023 7:18 PM

A routine win. Let’s work on finishing skills next week.

The real winners were the supporters who interrupted their festive shopping and merry making to turn up in numbers during that deluge. Respect!

    The January window looms…

    ‐—————

    A great summary.

Respect to every supporter who made the time, effort and financial commitment to support our team.

Make no mistake, this was horrendous conditions for supporters to navigate homeward in the dark.

This was a competent performance, but not an entertaining performance against the bottom placed team.

I feel there is a growing detachment between fans who are at the game and those who choose to watch it in the pub, on TV or on mobile devices.

To be absolutely frank, there were loads of empty seats .with numerous tickets available. Anyone who wanted a ticket could have had a ticket with a very wee bit of effort.

There are many reasons why supporters cannot attend, Cost, health, geography etc etc , but in short :- Anyone who wanted to go could have gone.

To those asking about the GB and think they walk on water. They were committed and an asset.

Walking on water is a great attribute which the rest of the support could aspire to. Alternatively, boats was the preferred mode of transport to get home considering the amount of new fresh water lochs that just appeared outside our stadium.

To be fair. The North Curve was full to the very end, whereas the stands around them were emptying with 15 minutes to go. So for 15 minutes plus 6 minutes of ET, ie 21 minutes the photographs show a mobbed section surrounded by empty seats.

I love winning football but I also crave entertaining football. We can have both., it is after all the Glasgow Celtic way.

Could the board do more to aid the match day experience? They have >£73 m to try.

Perhaps for ideas they could get chauffeured down the road to a great wee pub called the Drover who actually appreciate fans and give them free sausage rolls etc.

We have had many debates on here regarding inadaquate transport to and from Celtic Park, especially for the infirm. I feel another debate is overdue.

To summarise: A much needed win in horrendous conditions. An advert for summer football.

    HH, the journey continues.

  13. Greenpinata

Regarding the club could be doing more for the fans .

Wee story , my son in law managed to get a few hospitality tickets for Feyeenoord match . Good day out we had , meal and few drinks in Glasgow bar before game .

Around 100 fans, mostly Dutch . All good .

The north stand padded seat was great but astonished we were refused lounge access at half time for our £474 each ticket , apparently the jobs worth who refused us lounge access said it wasn’t in “ our conditions”

So there you are , talk about out of touch with the support.

A near £500 ticket for a dead rubber still doesn’t get you free pie at half time these days

I wouldn’t be surprised if that ‘job worth ‘ was wrong and didn’t know their job.

Does sound strange if true though…..

  15. Prestonpans

Jobs worth was adamant, no lanyard , no access .

It was in the conditions, apparently.

The Feyeenoord fans were none to happy either as they were also refused lounge access .

I obviously didn’t pay £474 for the ticket but many did .

Just pointing out the total disconnect between the club and support .

    C’mon the Well

  16. Celtic Shareholders especially at AGM are a absolute disgrace when it comes to asking a Scrooge board regarding the ordinary fan about the dismal outside facilities on match days ,they the s/holders are probably like there masters SELFISH .

  17. Timbhoy

I’m a small shareholder , I’ve never bothered going to an AGM .

For me , totally pointless. Read enough on here about them .

Most fans are treated with contempt by the board anyway .

As a matter of interest were you even allowed access to the Kerrydale bar.

  19. bigrailroadblues on

Good morning all from Govanhill. Fry up then an inspection of my estate. Then BEER!!!!

    Gerrintaethum Celtic!!!!

  20. I’m one of those small shareholders. I do try to attend the AGM. Things such as hot water in the toilets never get raised, imo, because most of the items raised are about the team and the board.

Yesterday was the first time I was in a position to attend a game and didn’t do so. The reason: I was frightened of driving back here in the dark given the conditions.

Let’s hope we continue to win and start entertaining again.

A very happy Christmas to one and all when it comes.

  21. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Big Stubbsy sticking it to the Board in the tabs this morning.

Club never builds from a position of strength, big squad but full of mediocre players, Sevco no great shakes but strong chance to win the league, Board would never be forgiven for gifting the huns Champions League money etc.

Just another entitled know nothing who fails to appreciate the phenomenal job the Lawwell boys do for our club. You can’t win them all and these guys sacrificed better career opportunities elsewhere to serve our interests so faithfully.

In other news, it seems Rodgers’ abysmal summer recruitment continues to be shown up as Lagerbielke is to be sold after a handful of games. It’s almost as if he wasn’t Rodgers’s player. Such a poor fit he might as well grave been chosen by an accountant or even worse, an accountant’s son. Not that that would ever happen at our great club, which is led by pros.

  22. Prestonpans ,

No access to Kerrydale either .

Had to argue with steward at club Celtic to get access before game too.

No lanyard no access even with a £ 474 ticket .

  23. Bada

I thought he was on holiday as he was absent from his seat at the Hearts game? Someone said it would only work if he stayed in his lane, it didn’t seem likely to me, unbelievable that we can self harm like this time and time again, and, he is still in the building with obvious major influence.

  24. Wishing everyone a peaceful and happy time over Christmas and the new year.

Particularly those suffering at a time when loss and loneliness is felt more acutely than ever.

And a very big thanks to Paul67 for another year of CQN
