I’ve done some back of the fag packet maths too.
20+ million of our money spent and we can barely get past the worse team in the league.
Under a decent manager we would be much better.
When you’ve sold off many of the top players that started at Tynecastle in the equivalent match last year and others are missing through injury and you have £75M and counting in the bank and you can’t even be arsed to spend any of it in the January window after a summer disaster…. At least you can always rely on your usual wee pals to come on here and blame the fans for your negligence.
The game is fecked.
Let’s hope we get the huns in the semi. Get it over with.

Yes and despite 30 x the wage bill of our opponents we still have to best them. It’s sport not the theatre or cinema.
Maybe every bitter jealous types who would rather moan about sacking boards and Palestine than back the team might play a part in destabilising the team ? Maybe a manager telling players they are not good enough publicly.
Maybe also acknowledge that football is about beating the team in front of you. Nothing more and nothing less.
Today you will probably be unhappy to acknowledge Celtic won. Just as we did to best rangers in the league cup final in 2019. Played off the park but won.

I agree but he’s no different from the rest of them. I genuinely think they’re schooled in it.

I posted yesterday referring to a paper report on their game v Dundee utd the day we stopped their 10.
Essentially they got a penalty from Hugh Dallas who was unsighted and , although the ball didn’t strike the defender, Dallas awarded it based on the strength of Stuart McCalls shout for it.
Ie – no handball, ref didn’t see it one way or another but the Rangers of Captain claimed for it and it was awarded. No wonder they claim for anything.
Bu ]t back to Goldson – he can claim for all he likes. I just want them to keep playing him.
He’s becoming a liability for them in bigger games.

Well going into the last 15 mins I feared the worst.

I didn’t say they took 50% of cash in hand in the bank. Recollection is they took a disproportionate increase in remuneration , a increase of £40k comes to mind.

One guy runs the club. Even Chris Trainer has no real power.
The board certainly don’t. The CEO has shown his power (not) of late. He is a functional head and that’s all.
The chair is not operational. He is non exec and maybe has the ear of the owner but probably less so than before since Ange left.
Talk of the board being a problem is playing the man and not the ball.
Anyone suggesting differently is just not getting how it works.

You may be right. I don’t know but it would have been legitimate and not underhand.
I would have thought £40/50k is about par for non execs at a business with this turnover so if higher then I guess it’s DD’s call.
No idea on PL remuneration but £75k feels about right of NE chair.
They said I would not do any of those jobs for that money. Anyone doing them would be nuts imo.
