What a poor post. I guess you’re one of those Celtic supporters who can’t be happy with a Celtic victory unless you’re taking a swipe at other Celtic supporters. I very much doubt that any Celtic fan was unhappy or disappointed at yesterday’s result. Similarly, if ‘the clique’ are comprised of those Celtic fans who THEORIGINALSADIESBHOY on 13TH SEPTEMBER 2020 11:07 AM

Players are being eased into the season after a very long lay off – we are not up to full speed yet – still you could follow the idiots at Ipox and have their limited squad run themselves into the ground In early games trying to impress the boss and pick up a series of injuries

so we are relying on GT on the left wing who hasn’t the confidence or ability to get bye the last defender to create chances for our lone striker , so I take it frimpong is going to be busy.

Anyone that has played the game at a decent level knows OE is not interested and desperately wants away. Manager speak should never be taken seriously and only interpreted to the dullards by those that know better.

Why is Brown playing 3 games in a week then?
JVR on
Tiny Tim, Jullien was injured in training.
You were correct in your post last week about the Pollok CSC. Eddie Divine was the bus convener .
I declare myself part of the “clique” – I have grave reservations about our manager. Had them since the first time and from when he was offered the honour of being Celtic manager in the showers at Hampden. However I do not want to see him fail – I never want any Celtic player or manager to fail. I am not a hun I just love Glasgow Celtic..

I agree with rotating and resting to an extent but then why is the 35-year-old Brown playing two times a week every week? Surely he really does need the rotation especially as we have Soro and Turnbull now desperate for minutes.

Why is Jullien not in the squad ?
you want me to answer that , maybe he is now in the same poke next to boli boli.

Another team selection which can be filed under — “Challenging”.
Best I can come up with is 3 – 4 – 2 – 1 …
At home against a limited Livi side?
Flogging SB into the ground.
Playing him with CMcG and ON — who exactly does what?
CMcG = box2box?
ON = sitting and passing?
So what does SB do?
RC — hopefully he is now past his shoot on sight “Hollywood” period.
As noted the bench looks stronger — apart from their only being 9 of them.
Games being played — and not to our advantage.
Last week = good game / great goals / lucky with GK man of the match.
Mid week = stodgy game / good goals / never got going and StM had a punchers chance right to the depth.
Today = Haven’t got a scooby.

Big Wavy, agreed.
If you watch Broony clips from Rodger’s 1st season where he was bossing midfield and compare to now, there is a huge difference, the know how and positional sense is still there but players are getting past him too easily.
It’s not fair on him, it will damage his reputation with the supporters as they continue to witness the decline. He should be used sparingly.

Agree with this fella. The decline is very real to see and should have been managed so much better than it is. He’s 35 years old, slower, not useful offensively and being left in his wake defensively. It’s sad to see.

Fair point regarding SB — he will always want to play.
It is up to the manager and the coaching staff to work out an exit plan.
When will this all end — same again next year …
And the one after that?
SB is a shadow of his former self.
We seem to be giving him a farewell tour so that the SPL can kick him one more time.
Enough is enough — keep him for the second half.
