  1. BB – I’d hope so too! Just feels a bit of a PL move – sacrifice Hammond and Lennon and bring in his boy’s mate and a Ronnie D type manager…

If the Scots want to make it into Stevie Clarke’s Euro squad, never mind his team they will need to up their game, while they still can. Everybody is playing for their future, at Celtic, or anywhere else.

If any harbour hopes of following Kieran or Stuart to the EPL that is, Lenny or no Lenny.

Always the EFL mind. Or League One.

  3. Usain Bolt’s agent is from Donegal.

Now that Usain has hung up his spikes, that might be the next CEO.

    You heard it here first.

  4. Celtic Mac

Usain couldn’t do any worse than our strikers atm.

No team would play a high line against him.

    As Kevin Bridges would say,

    U-Sayin’? Bolt.

Picasso couldn’t paint either – emperor’s new clothes as far as I’m concerned.

GENE, not at all being dismissive, but as an amateur painter I suggest you get one of his paintings on-line and try to copy/reproduce it. Not every one’s cup of tea, of course, but the man was a genius at times. His Guernica painting was, over 80 years ago now, simply stunning. INO of course.

  7. *CQN PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2020-21*

    RESULTS FROM GAME #34 – CELTIC 0 LIVINGSTON 0

It wasn’t great, was it? We showed a bot more promise in the 2nd half but our 4-6-0 formation was never going to result in a barrowload of goals. Indeed I’m reminded of a quote from the recently departed Tomy Docherty when he said “we were lucky to get none”!

Thank you to the XX who voted. The votes cast for each player (with my own choices asterisked) are as follows –

    Hazard: 1

    Ralston*: 9

    Bitton: 5

    Duffy: 5

    Laxalt*: 16

    Frimpong: 6

    Soro: 29

    McGregor*: 26

    Turnbull: 13

    Johnston: 0

    Rogic: 0

    Henderson: 0

    Okoflex: 0

So, the players receiving points for the Livingston game are –

    Soro – 5 points

    McGregor – 4 points

    Laxalt – 3 points

    Turnbull – 2 points

    Ralston – 1 point

Here’s the overall table (interesting that both Soro and Turnbull are tied for 6th having only really featured since December…..) –

    1st – McGregor – 54 points

    2nd – Laxalt – 52 points

    3rd – Ajer – 50 points

    4th – Christie – 44 points

    5th – Frimpong – 43 points

    6th – Soro and Turnbull – 33 points

    8th – Brown – 29 points

    9th – Elyounoussi – 23 points

    10th – Duffy and Rogic – 19 points

    12th – Edouard – 18 points

    13th – Ntcham – 16 points

    14th – Griffiths – 14 points

    15th – Bitton– 12 points

    16th – Taylor – 11 points

    17th – Barkas – 9 points

    18th – Ajeti – 8 points

    19th – Elhamed and Welsh – 7 points

    21st – Forrest, Jullien and Klimala – 5 points

    24th – Bain – 4 points

    25th – Hazard – 3 points

    26th – Ralston – 1 point

27th – Bolingoli, Dembele, Harper, Henderson, Johnston and Okoflex – 0 points

Our next game is on Wednesday evening with an 8.15pm kick off to suit Sky. And, again, it’s against Livingston only this time we might have a few players returning.

    Hail Hail!

OR go to his museum in Barca where you’ll see ‘A MASTER’ craftsmen at an early age. A troooly outstanding painter/draughtsman

  9. FOURSTONECOPPI , my No.1 son and his new wife moved to Barca after they got married and during one of our visits there he took us to the museum. Utterly gobsmacking, if you like Picasso of course. Amazing couple of hours, always meant to go back for a ‘proper’ visit. But of course it is all about taste.

Most people view Picasso for his modern paintings……….but by god this kid could paint and draw like an old master………still a durty wee sex pest tho’

I’m in NFL mode , Chiefs win next up Tampa Bay v New Orleans

  13. BT

I am a Green Bay man, think I’d prefer a TB win and Brady being frozen to the marrow next week in a snowstorm. Having said that I don’t think ould Brees would fancy it either

Watched last night , I don’t really have a favourite although anything g green has my support

I was in Philly the night the won Super Bowl in 2018 , had been at a Celtic weekend in The Plough and Stars and it got me back interested in it as I’d stopped watching as it was on Sky . As we noted earlier in the week who pays for Sky nowadays .

Brady was obviously on the losing team that night too .

I like the saints too so not bothered who wins tonight

  16. That was an Alice in wonderland read back.

Make believe and make it up a lot of nonsenses.

  17. SQUIRE DANAHER

New England is not too toasty in the winter either, so I think Brady would be more tolerant of the deep freeze than Brees, having been used to it for years.

  18. Iniquitousiv

Of course, point taken, but I remember an even then ageing Brady 4-5 years ago really struggling in freezing conditions at P Manning’s Denver in an AFC Championship game.

  19. BLANTYRETIM

Browns fan since ’65 watched them in the old stadium, have been hurting for a good few years but hope they are on the up.

  20. TIMHORTON on 17TH JANUARY 2021 11:55 PM

Yeah, Browns on the way back and the futures bright. Them and Ravens have the division over the next few years, Pittsburgh on the slide IMO

  21. I’d love if we got Eddie Howe – a friend knows a boy who played under him and he says he’s amazing – everyone loved him and the training was amazing. He’s totally hands on and the players all love him. And they play good football.

    What’s not to like?

  22. Superb stuff Jobo.

Unfortunately I cannae participate this Season.
