We are playing very well tonight.
We have come such a long way in such a short time under Brendan
If goals are your thing (and I’m a fan), you are certainly getting your money’s worth with Celtic in this year’s CL!
Maybe a bit open for the purists, but, for a neutral, it has to be fun to watch, I would think.
Even though some of the Man City players are technically much better, this shows that if we go full steam ahead, we can play at their level. The question is can we play at full steam for 90 minutes? I dont think so, so we will need to develop a game plan where we come out like gangbusters, but then switch over to a more savvy game so we can last the full 90 minutes.
But, one step at a time … compared to 7-0, 2-2 is brilliant … and definitely entertaining….

These commentators are really pissing me off. They say Celtic’s first goal was offside, City’s wasn’t (was about 3 yards offside). Celtic’s second was a lucky deflection, City’s second was brilliant play, although it was caused by a horrible back pass from Moussa !!! Jeez, jist like everytime we play an English f””””. No respect.

Celtic not giving them an inch
Nir Bitton has absolutely no positional sense. Just watching him here & he just can’t put him into optional area’s of the pitch for his teammates to play passes into.
On one occasion he has put himself into a good position & it lead to a decent move. At all other times he’s a man down.
I have to admit that I wasnt sure how Man City would do under Guardiola … but any time I have seen them this season, they have been pretty good, and pretty good to watch. Silva and Aguero are lovely players to watch, and deBruyne might just be the best all-around midfielder going … hell, he’s even got Raheem Sterling looking like a player!
so far, a fun game to watch.
westies … dont let them get to you … it is to be expected from them… and their arrogance is what stops England, and English teams, from achieving success commensurate with their spending….

Celtic were excellent in that first half.
Bad defending from both teams but we have given it a real go here.
Rogic outstanding. Tierney is one of us and done brilliant for the second goal.
The defence have been ok but we need to stop giving the ball away in midfield because they are breaking on us too easily after that.
We have players to cause them problems and I am not sure they expected that.
The team are giving it their best shot and that is all we can ask for at this stage uder Brendan.
City have great movement but they can be got at defensively.
