  1. I thought all European games were to be behind closed doors to make it the same for all teams ,- apparently not – watching Rapid v arsenal

  2. trying to remember, who was that big fat hun ex player on the radio that coined the catch phrase “it is all about opinions” ?

    aanyone ?

ps, enjoy the co-efficients bonust cmon the deady bears.

  3. All these guys supposedly wanting to leave the club can put themselves in the shop window tonight.

Based on that, I expect a 2-0 home win tonight. 😉🍀

So Ajeti and Griff not ft to start on Saturday are now fit to start on Thursday.

Amazing what a humiliation by the huns can do eh?

  5. Zombie Club have same formation as against us, but rest Davis and Helander. It is 4-3-3 while attacking, high pressing, or when the opposition keeper has the ball. Turns to 5-4-1 when defending with Morelos as the outball for fast breaks. They zigzag up either wing with 1-2s or punt it to Morelos or Kent who gain umpteen fouls.

We really need to counteract this in January, as our 3-5-1-1 obviously does not work against them.

All in all, they look very comfortable so far, despite Liege hitting the bar twice. Win this, and they are in pole position to qualify with Benfica.

  6. Iniquitous

Hope it is down to a lack of personnel and Christie will be eased back after 2 weeks isolating, but I dont see what he brings and never have.

  7. Barkas, Duffy, Brown, Griffiths, Ajeti, Ntcham, Frimpong, Ajer, McGregor, Welsh, Laxalt.

Subs: Bain, Hazard, Taylor, Klimala, Soro, Turnbull, Christie, Rogic, Elyounoussi, Henderson, Dembele

  8. Today’s starting line up v Milan ……

Barkas; Welsh, Duffy, Ajer, Frimpong, Brown, McGregor, Ntcham, Laxalt, Griffith, Ajeti

Subs: Bain, Hazard, Taylor, Soro, Turnbull, Rogic, Christie, Elyounoussi , Klimala, Dembele, Henderson

  9. Personally, I’d have Christie in at the start.

In place of any one of the 3 centre mids – none could complain if dropped.

Whilst Griffiths and Ajeti are a better pairing than Saturday’s, my concern on Saturday was with the lack of good supply to the forwards – irs not as if they missed chances. They never got any. 3 centre mids need to improve tonight. Let’s hope they hit some form.

  10. Mid 3 of Brown, McGregor & Ntcham again! Extraordinary, how many times before the penny drops with Lennon?

  11. Wee Dembele is back…woo hoo….

The triumvirate of repeated failed middies – Brown, Ntcham and McGregor – in the middle…….opposite of woo hoo….

  12. Dembele on the bench? Interesting! Barca fielded two 17 year olds yesterday. If they are good enough, they are old enough.

  13. 2 goalies on bench also , SB & ON how many times do you repeatedly try something that doesn’t work.

  14. Not sure what poor Luca has done.

One bounce game against Hibs where he was a stand out and don’t think he has even made the bench since,

  15. When was the last time the midfield of Ntcham, Brown, McGregor was actually effective? Brown looked low energy on Saturday, Ntcham was comatose, and McGregor tried but was overwhelmed.

    Why did we buy Turnbull?
