Whit you talking about crowds for do you ever actually go to see Celtic??

Yes, starry, I do. Couldn’t get over tonight. Was at Barca game there. Am shareholder. Entitled to my opinion. I await any comments on matters of substance. Play the ball, not the man.

Lessons for players, coaching staff and the Board tonight – will they be learned?

Perhaps some truth in that. However, we have been gubbed by Milan; the ref wasn’t even responsible for our schoolboy defending or for the fact that our 6’7″ keeper can’t even control or dominate his 6 yard box . No surprises in this result for me. Bad and insufficient investments have come home to roost. Hope PL will take note.

  4. Milan ain’t the team they used to be.

I can think of one club closer to home who fit that description perfectly.

  5. Did we perhaps just punch above our weight last season? Or have we just not been up to scratch this year?

  6. It makes me laugh when people start talking about “this Ref was never going to allow Celtic to win” especially when we have been totally outplayed and outclassed.

    What does that even mean?

How many Celtic goals have been wrongly disallowed tonight?

How many Celtic penalty claims denied?

How many offside goals were Milan given?

    Soundbites are just that. Soundbites.

Here we go to ten in row !!!!!

    Easy pleased then aren’t we

This campaign has been disgraceful our lack of quality is clear

Tactics poor and no plan B

Fitness is disgraceful for professional players with world class facilities

The Celtic way of playing is gone I fear forever

But sure we might win 10 in a row

  8. Positives… not many…

Kayal looks like he’s getting back to some decent form. As is Izaguirre, if only he could cross the ball.

    Lustig is a good player.

Apart from that, pretty poor. And we all know CL more often than not comes down to mistakes and we have made far too many this campaign.

We haven’t had the luck either but you make your own. Even disregarding the mistakes we’ve not scored enough goals to merit anything at all. A lot of that comes down to the club selling Hooper and not replacing him.

Could do better next season, but not if we don’t find a goalscorer.

  9. zimmerman - Conspiracy Theorist : Nothing more than a derogatory title to dismiss a critical thinker)- DAM Right ! on

Oh well….money Gonna be saved on sky sports at least.

  10. how do you assess this game ? – give goals away to an Italian team, you get beaten. the better team won. our squad is as good as the position we’re in in the CL. there have been times in the CL this year when we’ve done well.

    Expat..,

He can only shit with the ass he’s got, then again if he thinks forrest is a player theres something up

  12. hendrix67 – We have not been good this year – no question. The players we have are capable of better performances. That is the frustrating thing. Maybe it’s Neil that is out of his depth at this level. After all, I think I could win the SPL coaching this team in our league.

  13. GerryBhoy fully agree, several players look unfit, midfield lack ball winners and I think Ledley happy to once again run down his contract, will excuse Commons as he has had a difficult few days.

  14. Philbhoy - Free the Dam 5! on

We are not good enough at this level.

We could have been ,but didn’t spend on a striker (or two) and a creative midfielder.

Oh, and I hope you enjoyed the match Broonie.!

    Tom Rogic!

Ask for a transfer before you screw your career up completely.

  15. Back to bed here. 5:35 am

    Gutted and disgusted.

Iv only saw derk a couple times and kojo is spot on.. No heart. Afraid of the ball and the tackle.

Safe home to all the faithful who travelled.

  16. Finally made it home.

    Oh dear.

We will simply have to go away, lick our wounds and learn.

Come back next year and go again.

This is where we want to be, we need a bit extra, we will have to wait and see where that is going to come from.

    Dissappointed tonight.

  17. mncelt

I have to agree. I dont think we’re direct enough. Too many passes across the width of the pitch due to slow build up play allowing teams to get back and regain their shape.

  18. Fairly damming evidence Celtic bottom of the group scored 2 conceded 8 and that is with our best players being defenders.

  19. cliftonville celt from belfast praying for Oscar the wee legend on

If we start the same 11 in Barcelona we will never progress in Europe because we learn nothing and are not prepared to give youth a chance

Questions need to be asked of our coaching/management team after this campaign
