  1. Where is the growth agenda?

    Where is the talent pipeline?

Where is the hope, the excitement, the belief?

    We have an absent Raj.

We have a CEO without clue.

We have playing staff phoning it in.

Mightily pissed off… I’d normally be classed as a happy clapper I suppose. But things are wrong at paradise, and I’m not saying that just because of this game

We never learn and don’t need to learn!

The boards ambition is group stages and nothing else.

If we’d had any ambition we would have signed a f*cking striker and given the best footballer in the southern hemisphere a run of games in our first team.

    Surely??

  6. The re-building starts now.

JL — you came, you promised, the dogs barked.

FF — you have no more to give shame about the coaching.

JF — the growing up starts now, pity it wasn’t three weeks ago.

AS — you may have to take a step backward to move forward / you need a comfort zone that isn’t there.

EI — fair play you are now trying to do what once came naturally.

VVD — keep to your standards not the coaching staffs.

  7. Plenty team play in Europe without a recognised centre forward.

4 wide players? Sacrificing the midfield to kaka.

We knew 3 years ago Sammy is not a centre forward/not a target man

Our best results against the big clubs has been soak it up and take our chances.

    Barca, Man U, Milan

the worst thing is mate – you get halfwits on websites going on about our ‘moneyball’ approach. the whole thrust of moneyball was…. You gotta keep improving!!!!

we have a board and management, who are accepting the idea of weakening last season’s squad, and simply not putting anywhere near enough of the proceeds back into the team. Negligence.

  9. the living wage is to are eternal shame, that to me anyway speaks volumes of our club

and its so called custodians, and we think they will spend to make the team stronger,

yes we are gullible, two billionaires involved at the club and it shows.

  10. Mrs Doc just phoned me from the bus en route home, it seems she isn’t keen on the cynical attitude of the Italians and the way the ref allowed their shenanigans.

Those words aren’t exactly how she articulated her feelings, but you get the drift.

Dirty, cheatin, cynical, questionable parentage, made me smile listening.

  11. I am neil lennon 21.46

totally agree. we will probably be too strong for hearts but were well beaten by Milan and you can’t really argue about our position in the group. where does that put us ? – no idea, no man’s land in footballing terms. I suppose we just have to hope that we keep lustig and vvd and get 2 more goodies next summer who can make a good backbone for the others who can play well when they are well supported. we may just have to face up to the fact that we are a feeder club for anything half decent which comes along so they can pop off to cashland/engerland

  12. Forster will never be a top class keeper.Has always had the failing of not coming off his line.Punt him.His reputation wont improve, like his decision making.I have always said Efe will never make a CH,he cant jump.No surprise he does not play their for Nigeria.Midfield or nothing.Commons,ok for SPL,too slow for this oppo.Forrest, how many chances?.Sammi, left wing or nowhere.Ledley, bye Joe,many thanks. We totally lost anything when Kayal went off.Derk,coward.Strikers,dont make me fekin laugh.

Lenny before the game saying Derk will balance up the team because we have not had a left winger.Eh?.Sammi!!!!!?

That seeker of strikers,John Park,I said before, when we are looking at strikers he should be sent to Karagandy.Clueless when it comes to this.Lenny a bigger @rse for accepting them.Where do we go from here. What do we do with Derk,Pukki?.Keep paying them wages and also buy a REAL striker.Dont think so.

  13. Great effort by the team tonight but we seriously lack a finisher and we really need to make our corners and set pieces count.

I said at the beginning of the Champions League campaign we were far weaker than last season and it showed,we sold £20 million worth of 1st team talent and brought in 1 first team player, 3 projects in Balde, Rogic & Biton, and a £3 million pound sick note with no heart or desire, oh and the cheap 3rd choice striker to replace Hooper instead of signing Finnbogason which most of us wanted and who incidentally is the top scorer in the Dutch top flight, but hey we saved 2.8 million on a real striker who actually scores GOALS but are now out of Europe completely so I guess we must be doing things right ? The only problem is, that team is painful in the last third, predictable and boring.
