I hope at our press conferences those put up for them will not answer any questions about the semi final and saying we are only focused on our next match. In the week before the semi only say our preparation is the same as it is for all our games. No mention of going for a double , say as little as possible.

Connaire: This is the busiest time of year for me so have had little time to comment. However, yesterday, you posted about attending today’s game to SUPPORT the team. It was a standout comment for me amidst all the negativity on this site. I get to only a fraction of Celtic games each year but when I do attend, or watch on tv, it is always to support the team. I have strong opinions on our progress as a team, and as a club, but supporting the players on the pitch 100% is an absolute must.

With the new club coming next season, I would like the club to ask what is the legal ( and I mean proper legal) name of the new club in order that we can print our programmes etc.

We had several free kicks today which hopelessly came to nothing……when Naka or Lubo were given the task you were always assured of a goal……sad to say the fans screaming for free kick now is just a waste of time……..another thing in the game today which I was peeved about is useless distribution of a kick out every time by Craig Gordon…. his kick outs on 7 occasions were to opposition players…….corners were better today I hasten to add….. were good at getting forward today much quicker than norm…..maybe cos Biton wasn’t playing.
Given time Ronny could bring us 10 in a row – I like what he is doing with bringing in young Scottish talent. He will beat Sevco and win the double , let’s give him as much backing as we can and really prove that Celtic fans truly are the world’s best.
Two games that I am proud to have attended this season are the Raith Rovers match in the League Cup and today’s win against a Morton side that was unlucky to only get a draw on their recent visit to Ibrox.
It’s at games like these that Celtic’s need is greatest.
Re the semi final, anyone up for getting under their skin again, just like we did for our first meeting last February?

Unfortunately I think the die has been cast.
Even on here we have had people undermining him since day one.
But make no mistake the bar had been set.

The Derby match could go either way.
We will be favourites with the bookies.
But that counts for nothing.
The problem for me is that we have amassed a large squad of mediocre players,who lack physicality,skill and heart.
If we go behind in any match this team rarely comeback to win.
We no longer have Virgil and Denayer to shore up our defence.
Every SPFL match that we play is a potential banana skin,and our own record in must win cup ties is very poor under Ronnie & Johnny.
Even if we win the double,they have to go.
Their signings have been abysmal.

Today’s low attendance will be a bigger factor in determining Ronny’s future than the comfortable win over Morton… Imo.
If it doesn’t it will be a factor in determining PL’s future before long…

If there are tickets going for the game, my Son deserves to experience it after everything I have told him, that is not to say he will want to go. He has such a unique Mind.
He was doon at the front of the Roses gig, whilst I was at the back looking for him, and his Mum.
Today’s attendance was always going to be low – 12 O’clock kick off , lower league opposition , live TV & more money to pay for season ticket holders . Not a great combination to swell a crowd.

Make no mistake our hard core supporters are second to none. But to many of us, faithful through and through is only a song.
I will give you an example. Newcastle, a club with a limited fan base. A club with a Wally as manager and a dubious controversial owner. Playing s@@te and facing relegation. Yet have a look at the attendances at St James Park. Especially the ratio of seats filled to percentage available.

Home cup attendances have been like that long before Ronny came.
Celtic will sell out all their Hampden allocation – and their allocation for next season’s Ibrox fixtures…and Celtic Park will be full when ‘they’ come to us – not affirmation of ‘Rangers’, or the “Old Firm’ – just a statement of fact.
Further, if every single Celtic fan stated that they would stay away until an official statement of the kind suggested on here is made, then Celtic Park would be empty – only when all the legal avenues are explored and verdicts returned, will it be possible for the club to comment – any other course of action will leave Celtic open to legal action and put the club itself in jeopardy.
Why can’t some of our number understand that our hands are tied at present- of course we are all sickened by the cheating, conspiracy and cover-ups, but now is NOT the time.
Maybe after today the team will improve and the right players will get picked and in their favoured position……and we can move on and get behind the team and we can cross the finishing line with the 5IAR…..Time to get behind Ronny and refrain from all the crap about sackings etc…..getting like a broken record……so if you still insist on showing your displeasure give the phone ins a bit of your time……after that draw today the media will heap more pressure on Ronny to fail……to help their favourites…….forget about the views of the grovelers…..the SUTTONS..PACKIES..WALKERS.MCLEODS….Of this world…….
